If any of you in th US have valid scripts for large amounts of expensive meds, see if you can get a last minute cheap flight to England, (I got a return flight to Miami 2 years ago for about $120!) come over here, and get all your meds for free with your travel insurance on our national health service!

When my 3 American cousins were kids, one of the first things my aunt used to do when she came to visit, was take them all to get check ups with the doctor and dentist.

In England we may have to wait 2 months to get a hospital apointment, and the wards are all over full... But at least the drugs are free!!!

there are so many things wrong socialized medicine. I'd rather pay for my medicine than get a handout. but that's just my opinion.

With the cost of fuel and aairline tickets these days, I can't see it being worthwhile to get passport, visa, plane tickets ...etc just to save $1! After you pay for all that...is ir still worth the trip?
