Is Catapress a Poteniator? If so how many mg's do you need to take? Also, can you get a " buzz" from Catapress alone?

catapres/clonidine is good for WD's to let you sleep, calm down the restless legs. But it's nothing as far as a buzz is concerned by itself

yeah ive been given that for withdrawl along with ativan it helped, but i makes you feel like you got kicked in the head, some people might like that. it's just a blood pressure med. it lowers your blood pressure so dont take too much.

Through my own trials I've found that Clonidine does give me the " buzz " I need.

When I say " buzz " I should just say it takes the edge off the anxiety and intense angry / aggressive behavior I display and feel when detoxing.

I guess it's not really a " buzz " more just a cure, depending on your philosophy on the subject.

Clonidine helps me a lot; if you haven't tried it maybe you should. Just for future reference.

This is in the wrong thread. I know now; Sorry, but I didn't know if it was a potentiator or not.
