Giving up Heroin...

Hello all. Haven't been posting lately. I'm staying away from dope for now. I know people are going to have all kinds of opinions on this one but I'm pretty satisfied with Cymbalta and no opiates. I feel pretty fucking good on a daily basis and I've been able to find a contentness for now without opiates.

I still am going to continue studying opioids in nature and experimenting with them. I'll continue to grow poppies and who knows what else. Just waiting foir spring. I might be a good judge of a plant's activity without a regular opiate habit and hence a low tolerance. I just love plants and always will and I'll keep looking for them/growing them.

I'll post in the "Opioids in Nature" forum anything good. Be checking on it. I'm doing another experiment tonight with a large dose of Black Cohosh. Dalea purpurea when this fucking country thaws out in a couple months, and anything else I can find. I'm convinced they're are good ones out there. I greatly appreciate all Jacky's posts regarding the topic.

I can't read all the posts about everybody's great drug supply. It'll drive me crazy. You guys have fun and be careful!

I'll still be here... I'm just going to stick to one forum. I don't want to hear about OC 80's and fat bags of dope. That's torture. I'm staying away from the junk because of the bad times. I don't need to be reminded of all the fun. I don't know how you do it Nick, really.

I'm just attempting the transition from smack all week long, to being a weekend warrior, and I don't know how that's going to work, but I've got to do it.

I think it is smart to stay away from the forums that discuss heroin use. Have you stopped all use of heroin? Are you looking for total abstinence from just heroin and experimenting with other types of opiates as you suggested of those found in nature?

Just curious. I think for some of us who have used opiates there is a pull to the knowledge of just how opiates work in the body and other forms from those we are familiar with. Just my opinion anyway.

I was a heroin addict and now on Methadone, but I know for sometime I had a fascination with opiates, just everything about them. That fascination soon gave way to getting clean off of heroin and onto Methadone. I think I am just rambling now!
