I Just Ate a Pox of Fentanyl Patches

I am not kidding. I just ate a box of the Duragesic 100 patches, well I ate 4 and 3/4 and smoked the last bit. And I am seriously not even high. Im not trying to brag, I would just like to know what the hell is going on! I am currently on 90mg of methadone a day. But I waited a bit more than 36 hours after my last dose to to this. I ate ALL the gel inside the little fuckers to and smoked a bit off foil which produced next to no effect. And I am not a big buy either, I am 18 years old and about 130-140 pounds(have not checked In awhile) and I am around 5'10. So whats the deal here? Because if this does not get me high, I don't think anything will....well perhaps if i inject the contents next time, but I don't even want to think of the work involved to get that gel into a injectable solution that does not destroy my few good viens.

Knowing what I know the only explanation I can think of is that maybe you still had methadone in your body and you just couldn't get high? Have you taken subs or any other kind of opiate beside fentanyl and methadone?

Even if you swallowed the gel, one patch should have produced a real effect. And 3? Fuck man, I would say you're bullshitting but you have nothing to gain by doing that so I don't know.

Are you still with us? If I was you I would take my ass to the hospital ASAP. Someone very close to me chewed two of the non-gel 75mcg patches and thank god I found him or he would be dead right now. ICU for several days. Kidney problems, muscles in his body broke down and caused a heart attack. That is just pure craziness. Anybody think this guy is in serious trouble?:(

I really hope he is just a stupid kid and lied about eating all those patches because there is no doubt in my mind what will happen to him if he did eat 4 100mcg patches. The person I refered to my my earlier post had a massive tolerance and 1.5 75mcg patched chewed for several minutes would have killed him if I didn't find him. His respirations were down to 1-2 a minutes when we arrived @ hospital. While there, he would stop breathing all together and the medical staff would yell his name to wake him so he would start breathing again. That doctor told us that 2 kids had done the same things a few weeks earlier with the 50mcg patches and one was dead the other on life support with no brain activity. Fent is not to be fucked with.

But see, that is the purpose of this site, to reduce harm, harm reduction. I have no doubt that he was going to do the fentanyl. But, if he would have gone the right route and researched or even posted "How much should I do" I know I would have told him to utmfse and then I would have informed him that fentanyl is extremely potent and dangerous. I would have then suggested smoking it. He didn't sound new because he said he was on MMT. So given that most people don't take shit they don't know what it is, then he should have had an idea about what he was doing. Plus he had a box of them, no one buys a box or gets a box scripted unless they know what the fuck it is.

That's a little cold-hearted...if he is indeed dead, I feel very sorry for him because he was so close to getting good information because he was already at this site, but he went ahead and ate 4 patches before attempting to post. He posted after he had consumed them, that was one of many mistakes. Stupid, definately. Perhaps a mistake that cost him his life.

He made a number of mistakes and now he may or may not be dead. That's what this site is here for, to educate so people don't become a statistic. Not to be glad that a newbie made a fatal mistake! I can't say we would have saved his life but he would have had a sporting chance since no one here would have suggested, "Eat a patch until you feel it. Once you've eaten 4 and still not felt anything, let us know and we'll review the situation."

But I also think it's possible this kid maybe was exaggerating. Even with methadone, I don't think you could've eaten one 10mg patch and still been conscious enough to start on a second. Or a third or fourth for that matter.

Yes, it is kind of worrying that he has not posted since telling us he ate a "pox" of fentanyl patches. I had a box of those like 5 years ago. Only the 25mcg/h ones but there was i believe 6 in in the box or osmthing. It came in the janssen pharmaceuticals box but that is irrelevant. I actually wasted all of them cuz I put them on and didnt know it would take like 13 hours to kick in, so after like an hour or three I was expecting something and I just threw them out!!!! lol. What a fucking waste. Stupid me. I read on Erowid that it was 50 times stronger than heroin and I was expecting the big bangand absolutely nothing happened. I went out riding my bike 12 miles with a patch on and all i felt was heat stroke.

Anyways, i hope this guy isn't dead. I was a little harsh when I said the world was better off without people like him. If he's alive, it's probably because he swallowed them all and didnt use the gel sublingually or buccally or I.V or something. I still have trouble believing he's alive after eating them.

It depends on the affinity of fentanyl. The affinity is the willingness a drug will connect to the receptors in your brain. Fentanyl's affinity is alot higher so you would feel the effects of it over the methadone..

I agree the kid didn't eat a box of patches but oral fent is hardly worthless. Some peoples tolerence is so astronomical that they need a way to get fent in there body faster and would rather not slap on 10 patches. Next time you get a Mylan patch do what I wrote below and then tell me if oral fent is worthless.

1. cut the patch in half
2. get some 91% isopopanol alch and squirt some on the inside of your cheeks (this will irritate them a bit but it's not bad)
3. Place the halves of the patch on each side of your cheek and do a couple more sprays on top of the patches and then every once in a while do a few more squirts.

Note: This is done with the Mylan patches.

This is extremely effective and quick way to get the fent into your system but it's also a very potent drug. You have to be very very careful doing this and have a huge tolerance. When I was doing this I had a huge oxycodone habit as well as a huge fent habit via smoking the gel. I would suck on the patch for five or six hours and be extremely fucked up, to the point where I couldn't see straight. I got so fucked up on the Mylans like this that I tried the samething with the Duragesic patches but it isn't effective. I think there is something with the design that makes it not work.

Final Warning: Just to compare to something that a lot of people do I wouldn't use this method unless you have a habit of like 300 Mg's of Oxy a day or more. Very strong and very dangerous.

Fuck, I about flopped on a 25 mcg patch and believe me, my tolerance is unbelievably high. Didn't he say the were the 100 mcg ones? I'm just have a hard time believing that deal occured. He had to be lying because he logged back in about a week or so after posting this and said "don't worry I'm not dead". I know someone who chewed ONE 75mcg patch and OD'd, thankfully I got him to the hospital in time that they saved his life. He did have a heart attck and acute renal failure from it. He spent the better part of a week in the ICU.
