Ah, if yah haven't seen it before, "Adam and Paul", a flick about a couple of Dublin junkies cruising around, sick, mostly, all burntout and kicking bad. On Sundance tonite, US westcoast time 8:30 p.m. Ch. 301 for u Cox subscribers.

I've seen it before, and I thought it got the "feeling" pretty well, of being way down, nobody trusts you, sick, coughing, dirty, can't find a place to shit, or anything to steal. If you've been there, it rings true. A little fantasy here and there, but so what... I thought it caught the junkie sickness and humor and despair pretty good. Nothing left for them, and damn I know that feeling... They kind of stick together tho, these two friends, and if u've ever been down to it, just you and your sidekick, it'll bring back memories...no glamor, no romance, the way I like it, when it's told.

Speaking of Sundance, I really wanted to go this year. I went last year though, it was fun.

I would love to watch it...tape it and mail it to me, lol...

I can't even get my cable company to bring "E" entertainment channel to us....
used to love watching Talk Soup when Henson hosted it....got all my hard facts, info and news from it. j/k

With cable, to get most anything good you have to pay a ridiculous monthly fee...even stuff like Discovery Health (I love watching Paramedics, the operation movies, etc.) between cable internet and "extended basic" cable channels the monthly is already around 80 freaking dollars....rip off to the max...

yeah, let's put up another cspan, shopping channel and bunch of other crap so it looks like we have tons of choices for the price....it's totally what they do, then their ads toot their own horns & say they haven't raised cable rates in 3-5 years or something...uh huh...but you "re-vamp" the channels for our continued viewing pleasure sometimes 2-3 times in a year f-ers!!

oops, sorry Duck :o

well, no one can say I'm not passionate about things, right?

just usually it's worded differently, like being called:

"negative all the time" or

"too opinionated" or even

"do you ever shut up?" :D

...anyone want this soapbox?
