EDIT: // Whoops! Just realized this is not the right forum for this question. My apologies. Any chance to move or repost elsewhere?//
Here's the sitch: I've been having problems with low back pain for a couple of months, and it seems to be worsening. After doing some research, I've found two possible conditions my symptoms appear to fall under: spinal canal stenosis or herniated disk.
I've got a doctor's appointment soon, so hopefully we'll find out what's really going on. My hope, of course, is that its neither of those things.
My question(s), though, for anyone who *has* had either of those conditions:
1. Are they in any way reversible if caught in time?
2. What's the long term outcome?
3. What helps ease the pain, aside from painkillers (as I don't have any at the moment)?
Any advice or general words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. I'm at the point where I can't walk or stand for too long of a time, and its really bothering me. :/
