we try.. I don't know, I liked the first better. BTW- This isn't my "final" project. I'm just having troubles getting good source images and video. I have to say it, but requiem.. I had a hard time composing a theme with that movie. I mean, it turned out ok but I think it could've been better. It just sux because I know that there are other movies with better video footage... in fAct, there's a very rare one called "trash"... it's very old and VERY rare. I'd give my left nut to find it, but I dunno... it's rough. I only saw it once, very fucked up...

requiem could go just as well with something punky and a little harder... or with velvet underground... but that cover of Hurt is one of the best pieces of art put to music since the digital age began.

I agree.I got curious so I played DJ Shadow-High Noon over it, and it wasnt too bad. But all in all awsome job again.

And I just have to comment on Ellen Burstyn's performance in Requiem. Didn't know her as an actress before the movie, but now after that performance, I now know why I should know her name.

it would be interesting to see the song La Crimosa from 'requiem' by mozart and a flick mix. that's the piece he died while he was writing... pretty cool story, probably urban legend, but he thought an angel came to visit while he was writing it, and told him he would die soon.

he died soon after, while writing 'la crimosa' which is a hauntingly beautiful masterpiece... the pros closest to him completed the work, and it is great, but what he was writing was groundbreaking. there's no telling where he was going with the work.

so yeah, if that's not OT, I don't know what is.

Awesome video! Although that movie (req for a dream) upsets me for some reason. I don't like how things go downhill and everyone in the story ends up in their own personal hell. But it's a good movie. I fucking hate the TV thing though with that annoying actor, you know that thing the mom watches in the movie? That dumb infomercial is played over and over throughout that movie and it drives me insane! That actor reminds me of troy McLure lmao or whatever from the simpsons. U know that annoying guy in Requiem who is in that stupid weight loss infomercial that the old lady watches over and over and over. Anyways good work! Awesome song too, love the music.

But that was the whole aim of the movie, to see how drugs "can" lead you down to a personal hell, while using them to fulfill dreams.

And yea that guy does remind me of Troy McLure, and every other infomercial host selling your "dreams" on a platter. I thought those infomercials helped add some comical light to the movie. I know Im ganking the thread, but sorry I just love that movie.
