Dope isn't that bad. I hate how they make it seem so awful. I don't mind being an addict at all. I really don't. I don't know why other people have to care so much and stick their nose in my business and everyone else's. I can understand if your like homeless and totally fucked out and on mass amounts and a zombie and your family is pissed at you cuz your just a fuck up. But I don't mind maintaining on my Methadone and even if I was getting high like i used to it wouldn't be a problem i'm the same fucking person either way and if people can't handle that then fuck them. I can understand people not liking people who are so addicted they ditch their family, friends, gf's, and move out onto the street. That's just crazy (no offense to anyone who's done that), but to me it's just nuts and I would never do it, no matter what I was on or how high I was. I think that kind of shit makes junkies look bad. Don't overdose, don't commit crimes to get dope, don't ditch your family, don't ditch your kids, don't become a streetwalker. Fucking take care of your shit if your going to dip into "God's medicine". Don't fuck up society and look so fucking wretched that people cross the street cuz you are a homeless junkie bum. Integrate yourself into society, use a fucking computer or something. I hate seeing people on the street who could be doing something good. instead they have to scare little kids and make a city look trashy. Don't sell drugs to kids, don't sell them to anyone even! That shit is whack. When some dumb fuck od's guess what gets blamed, HEROIN or OPIATES in general, not the person. That's why drugs are demonized! Cuz people are fucking morons and can't control themselves! arghh sorry i'm just having a bad day.

I also agree that drugs are really helpful and enjoyable, just sometimes people are fuck bags. I think legalizing drugs is one of the first steps to actually achieving a "free" society.

in my humble opinion (yeah right) temperance and prohibition are ingrained into western civilization and gov, so the only way out is with intelligent advocacy and acceptance of slow and steady changes.

i also think its important for places like this one and people like us to present better defense of decriminalization than "i wanna get fucked UP!!" or "i'm sick of going to jail" or whatever else...

maybe we should start a forum for non-junkies, family members, whoever else, to ask the tough questions and present reasonable arguments for current policies and public positions.

but i'm afraid it would get so ugly and folks on here would be 'fuck you' this and 'life sucks' that and 'i've got this uninformed theory and based on it, i'm fine' (not you RM) etc etc.

and if we talk about moderating it and keeping it ontopic i'll get lynched for 'violating free speech rights' (that one was for you nick!)

I watched these years and years ago when they premiered and I was just getting into drugs heavily. I learned so many things from these, and I loved the unbiased view the program took. They never once said drugs are bad or anything that wasn't based in fact. I admired they're honesty and when the encore of them came on, I recorded them.

I tried to get my ex-girlfriend to watch all of them, but the only one I got her to watch was the marijuana one.

If you've never seen them, I HIGHLY recommend you watch them. You will not be disappointed. I promise.

Yeah I saw that when it came out. Good program, really. Kinda true. But still!
