Paterson's drive-through trade lures users from near and far (http://www.northjersey.com/page.php?qstr=eXJpcnk3ZjcxN2Y3dnFlZUVFeXkzJmZnYmVs N2Y3dnFlZUVFeXk2NzIzNDkx)It's 2 o'clock in the morning and Justin is curled into a fetal position on his bed, quivering in a cold sweat. He's nauseous. His body aches. He feels like he could jump out of his skin.
He can't wait any longer.
With the stealth of a cat burglar, Justin tiptoes to the living room of his two-story brick colonial home in Kinnelon and rummages through his mother's purse. He plucks $50 from her wallet, snatches her car keys and then, after slipping out the front door unnoticed, gently pushes her Ford Escort down the driveway.
It's been 17 hours since Justin's last hit of heroin. He's disoriented as he starts up the car and leaves his picturesque neighborhood along the slopes of the Ramapo Mountains. Yet he knows exactly where to go for quick relief.

Great read. Thank you. I personally never got ripped off except one time when I was 14 and two guys took a gram of weed from me. That was all. The H-dealers never ripped me off and I never got in trouble with the people in these districts. Only annoying things were several waitings in the rain until the dealer arrived.
But surely there are people who must have some rip-off karma. I dont understand people driving there with jewelry for 3.500 $ !!!

it almost seems like you escape unscathed or you end up getting the worst of it. i saw a clip on tv the other night about this law enforcement agency sending in some undercover narcotics officers to a predominantly black area - the cops, of course, are all white. those black boys didn't give fuck one who they might have been, they just knew they were in the wrong part of town - started punching into the car, pulled a gun on them, etc. quite funny, to be honest. stupid coppers, tricks are for kids...

I've seen this segregation violence too ESPECIALLY in Asbury Park and Newark. It happened to me when I was young and went skating in Asbury. Took a walk down the wrong street while we were wiating for the train and got rocks and bottles thrown at me by a group of near twenty people. I was 12 yrs old at the time, and went skating there all the time, but had never been down that street. These folks were pissed I walked thirty feet down thier block and just werent havin it. Never took that walk again. Cops can be some dumb fucks too though. Didnt this swine ever see New Jack City? I mean, c'mon people! You don't send a computer technician to work on a pig farm and expect them to have a clue about the animal. Let's admit it, we learn how the shit goes down out there by trial and error. Pain and pleasure. Some cop who hasnt done any undercover work for a long period of time is a dead man if he's trying to get to the weight. It sounds like these greenhorns we're just trying to bust some loc's for shits and giggles. Typical. Any one of us that came up on the streets and was always getting thier fingers into some sort of mischief knows the typical behavior of cops. This pack of pigs got spotted and these kidds we're pissed off and turned the tables, if only we all had opportunnities like that.
Where I live we had a train of people from Paterson coming and going. I sold for them and they suppiled me for along time. I'd say 70% of everything here comes from that general area.

Today I went to the local "pill-hill" in the San Francisco's Tenderloin, and gave a dealer $30 for an 80mg Oxy, but he switched my money with a $5 and a $1 and said "hey, man this is only $6" I believed him and gave him the "rest", and later realized I've been ripped off. This is the worst thing that's ever happened to me there. For some reason the cops there almost never bust the dealers, and when they do, they just confiscate the drugs and give them citations.
