Howdy all. I'm looking for some info on this little tripping seed. I can't find much in terms of actual experiences.

Thanks in advance!

From what ive heard its a weird thing. It takes the craving away but not for and extended period and doesnt help at all with WDs

I've eaten over 100 of these and didn't feel any hint of a trippy feeling. It made me nauseous for a couple hours until I fell asleep. I tried it 2 times before only eating 50 and felt da nada. Got them from a reputable online herb store mentioned on here several times... so I don't think that was the problem. You figure out a way, lemme know man. Loved trippin back in the day, gotta shake up the etch-a-sketch (<-head) every now and then.

you can read about my horrid experience with over 9 grams of this seed at erowids. the report is titled "pay the price" by jacky.

I DO NOT reccomend these seeds to anyone. the reason that they are commercially avialable isnt really supported by ethnobotanical supply sales, but as a source of intermediate alkaloids for the pharmaceutical industry.

mjb botanicals sells voacanga rootbark alkaloid freebase material, which I would reccomend instead of the seeds for research purposes. they also sell an isolated compound from that alkaloid blend...the name escapes me now...the prices are not really that bad.

I would opinion to expect mostly a cns depressant activity with these alkaloids.

Read your report Jacky... sounded pretty shitty. Especially the duration of the effects. Heh, guess I'll throw the rest of mine out the window. If they grow, they grow, if not... some squirrel's gonna have a bad day.

yeah, the seeds, not so interesting.
but the plants other parts may be another story.

I know that there are some promising sounding tabernaemontana species out there. read up on tabernaemontana crassa for example, could be an interesting psychoactive plant. I consumed some of the rootbark of this species and felt some obvious stimulation, and possibly opiate potentiation.

I would be really interested if some people do get a psychedelic effect from voacanga africana seeds, just cause they completely fucked me up and left me in serious pain, doesnt mean that someone might enjoy them.
I would just caution to not jump into the large dose that I took

if you get the seeds to grow, let me know, I wouldnt mind having on of the plants!!
