Today I got some seeds that I ordered. I received 6 grams of tasmanian seeds and about 2 grams of dutch oval poppy seeds. I can't seem to find any description of them other than they have small pods. Can anyone give me an idea of their color and strength. When I google them I keep getting websites for danish
bagels. I also bought som hens and chicks @ Walmart. Can't wait to see how well they bloom. :D
I've also got some gigs, white persians, peshwar, persian blue, and hungarian blue seeds coming.
I already have some flowers, and chives, planted next to my house so these will really put some color around my house. Thinking about planting some hollyhocks to help play down the poppies a bit though.
I would like to hear from anyone who grows poppies in the mid west maybe you can help a first time grower.

growing poppies in your yard is 100% legal, why try to hide them. unless you're trying to hide them from other junkies. I would use my backyard, its got a tall fence, so you can't see in when I score them to collect all their love sap. :D

^^^

I don't think its legal to grow them. LEO's just tend to look the other way.

exactly. they just dont care about people who have a couple for looks. when you start having 100 pods right outside your door in one spot dripping with latex is when youre in trouble. and even then, its got to be a local cop that sees it and KNOWS what they are. pretty hard to get caught, but you CAN!

i read about this couple in the northwest i think. they had a huge field of them, unlanced. the dea raided them and took them to court. it was thrown out because there was no proof of them trying to manufacture. they just liked the way they looked. and if you plant a couple and have a field open, they WILL spread. so the dea just chopped them all down and let them go. of course after a lot of grief and misery for the old couple.

You can grow them by the ton. If you lance them you might get in big time trouble, but otherwise it will be just as TokenDerrik says, it's the other junkies that think they are the only ones who know what the pods are good for and most of them seem to think that it's a junkies right to take pods they see growing in public...
