I used to use this site to identify unknown pills when I was using. There is an imprint search feature that lets you type in the imprint on the pill and it will tell you what it is.

^that one is usually better since it sometimes has pics and tells you the dosage
but when I don't find the right info I search google with the keywords: pill ID imprint (and then what the imprint is)

Damn PK, I was coming this very instant to post almost that same link.:p http://www.chwframe.staywellsolutionsonline.com/modules/goldstandard/drugid.asp
I do like this one better. RXlist works but doesn't have what the one he and I posted. It has makings for pills that RXlist or another one at http://www.drugs.com doesn't have. I think it's far and away better then the other two.

one thing ive noticed about rxlist.com is that its not ALWAYS updated, ever so often it takes a week or 2 to update and add new info about newer released pills or a different variety of pill. theres a type of morphine capsule thats not even listed on there, its aqua and white capsule and has a little 60 and a weird "C" shape, ive never seen these before and i couldnt find it on any ident. search, but maybe theyre keeping it a secret...heehee because its a creeper! its pretty strong, so maybe its just really new, i dunno. but i always look up pill ident. if im not 100% sure about what it is,to be safe.

I was thinking that it would be a great idea to install an image gallery add-on to opiophile.org that would allow the posting of a picture plus description in a somewhat seperate area. The cost for this add-on, however is about $60. We'd have to take a collective vote on spending anything above our needed $80 donation for the software, and of course we'd have to have majority approval of it being a good move.

I'd really like to see the board move into a site, providing not only the excellent discussion it does now, but information in other areas - pill id is a great example of one. A wiki as another?

Check out this image gallery and let's see what our member base thinks: http://www.vbadvanced.com/products.php?do=productinfo&p=5

There's also the possibility of using this add-on: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=63681&highlight=garage which could be coded up a bit to allow for the databasing of pills, etc.

What's your take?

Yep that pills called Avinza and they go up to 120mg. Inside the capsules they have little white balls some of which are IR some are sustained release. When you crush the crush them and snort/add water they do not gell up at all. These are the best fucking Morphine pills out right now, hands down. I actually just got some last weekend for the first time and had to call Poison Control to verify that they were in fact Morphine. Yeah that's another way you can verify what a pill is, call poison control. In the US it's the same everywhere 1-800-POISON-1 (1-800-764-7661). They'll ask you for a zip code but don't worry about it, give em any one and the pill will always be the same. The zip code thing is how they track whether a Rx has hit the streets yet.
