Just saw something about, Dave Lee, Alex, Eddie, and Eddie's son Wolfgang playing bass.

Wonder if that day is here now?

PLEASE let it be true..but ONLY if Diamond Dave is with 'em! I dont' think the Police will ever get back together. Sting's ego is way too big.

The Police are in a studio in Can. getting ready for a tour/CD, They get in the R-N-R hall of fame later this yr I think.

And the HALEN will be on a 40 city tour, w/ all members beside Mike.

Of course like the Police until you see them, nothing is certain.

Police 'book studio'
(Friday January 26, 2007 12:03 AM)

The Police have booked rehearsal space for their upcoming reunion tour, according to reports.

The news seems to confirm claims that the band are on the brink of reforming, over 20 years since they last played live.

Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland are expected to reunite at Lions Gate Studios in Vancouver in the coming weeks to work on material.

With the group currently celebrating the 30th anniversary of their breakthrough hit "Roxanne", details of a full world tour are expected shortly, reports Billboard.

It is also widely expected that The Police will play during the opening section of the 2007 Grammy Awards next month.

The event takes place at the Los Angeles' Staples Center on February 11.

Yeah, VH would be cool---I've never thought of any but the original incarnate as being the real VH. No Micheal Anthony would be weird, I guess, and Diamond Dave ain't quite the gigolo he once was (saw him twice in recent years on solo tours), but still....I'd go. I hear Eddie's quite the drunk these days...

I saw 'em open for Sabbath (Never Say Die tour in 1978), and had front row for VH II tour '79. Those were some great shows....'twas a mere youngun, but still....
