With so many different resources out there, the best way to keep the Pill ID forum complete and resourceful is to do your best to include as much detailed info as you possibly can, including an image (if available) in your first post. Please follow these guidelines:

1. If submitting a pill for reference, please include generic & brand name in post title and body.
2. If submitting a pill for reference, please include a picture attached and not linked to!
3. If submitting a pill for reference, please check for duplicates! Better to add to a post than create two.
4. Always submit an image if possible.
5. Describe shape, size, color, imprinting, & other pertinent info.
6. Be sure to search through the forum to see if other info has previously been left.

Most ID questions can be asked within hours, if not minutes. The more detailed information one can leave, the better chances we have in identifing what you've got. This also make your query useful to those who might need assistance in the future, so please do what you can to get us the most info possible.

Please do not tell us what you intend on doing with your find. Nine times out of ten, we're going to know the answer; there's no need for clarification. (You're going to turn it in to the proper authorities, right?)

Anyway, a big thanks in advance for making the Pill ID forum at opiophile.org a useful resource for information.

Submissions are welcome at any time! If you happen to find yourself with pics and info for a particular brand or type of medication, by all means, enter them here. Your efforts will be rewarded down the line in some form or fashion. Below you'll find a good template to follow:
