Deleting attachments?

How do I delete attachments? I want to delete a pic of me in a post. Is that possible. ? I already TMFSE.

Normally you would just go to the edit option next to the post that has the attachment you want to delete and get rid of it through there; the problem is that after something like 12 hours you can no longer edit your post around here, so I think the only way to get rid of it now is to get ahold of a moderator or administrator and ask them to edit it for you.

Also, if you go to "user options" at the top of each page, it'll take you to your personal options, then scroll down to "attachments"---here you'll see all the attachments you've ever put up on the site. There you can delete any or all of them as you wish.

Well, when I try it, it opens up a window, then you have to check which attachments you'd like deleted, then hit the 'delete' box. I tried it again bfore posting this and it worked....

Lemme see what, if anything, I can do via the Mod Admin page...I'm assuming you'd like the photo of yourself that you recently posted to be removed?

Edit: ok, I was successfully able to remove your attachment (I hope) via the Mod Admin panel--now let's see if it worked...

Edit 2: ok, I checked the thread, and your pic is gone, poof, never to be seen again, unless you want it to be, that is.....

It was a nice picture Euphoricgirl. But I can certainly understand why you'd like it removed now.

If anybody I know personally can figure out I'm "Papa Ver" here and read everyone of my posts it's possible I'd have some explaining to do.
