"The Fourteen Steps" by the Reverend Daniel Suders is a short work that satirizes the 12-step plan. It is currently available in "Rebels & Devils:The Psychology of Liberation" which is edited by Christopher S. Hyatt (other contributors include William S. Burroughs & Timothy Leary). The book is definitely not Christian in nature...
I'd highly recommend "The Fourteen Steps." Some people will just think it weird but I'm sure it is supposed to be. It contains many interesting lines such as "Serenity is as serenity does. So why do you live in my typewriter you bitch?" The general theme is that one shouldn't take things too seriously.
If anyone knows where I can order Daniel Suders' other work from can you please send me a pm.
