Any one heard of Heantos and where to get it? supposedly its an herbal concoction that the US is studying because of its promising results in treating opiate addiction. Im wondering if the concoction can be bought anywhere or online or if its still waiting for approval.

if you havent heard of it google it...theres some very interesting articles.

the maker supposedly got himself addicted to heroin so he could find a way to 'cure' addiction.

I looked up everything I could on heantos, and found only a few ingredients listed......ginger itself may have some interaction with the opiate receptors, the oil 1-8-cineole is found in ginger and some other analgesic herbs, ginger is a component of the catuama extract which shows cross tolerance with morphine..........cinnamon contains many chemicals, even some isoquinolines, some of which are known to have interactions with pain receptors.......I am very interested in this heantos , but would never take anything unless I know the ingredients, hopefully a more complete list of the ingredients will work its way out......one article stated that the creator of heantos investigated some 100 herbs that the local populations use to treat addiction/withdrawl, I would LOVE to see a list of those herbs, too bad it wasnt an anthropologist doing this research instead of a private individual with monetary gain as the main motivator, sharing information that impacts health is the right thing to do.............

im sure money was certainly motivative for him...but supossedly his family is addicted to opium so he has a personal war against addiction driving him to find a cure. I really want to get my hands on this stuff, or at least a recipe for me to make. The lows of addiction have had me do far stupider shit than take a concoction of herbs without knowing the ingredients, so i probably would still take it if the guy wanted to keep his recipe a secret.

If anyone out there can find any more information...please post.
