DAMN IT! Title says it all!!! FUCK IT!!!! DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!!! 4 years i got away without doing anything! Four years!!!!!!!! Ok maybe i was doing stuff but i didnt work or go to school. I was misearble sure but i read a lot, ton of documentaries, came out 10x smarter then when i went in (long story). But tomarrow..... I will be out.... around a lot of people..... talking.... turning in papers. My god what has my world come to!?

Dropped out of highschool.... well kind of stopped after something happend for own safety then had to move. Now for the first time in 4 years.... school tomarrow at 11;00! It doesnt even register in my brain as being real. I cant see myself waking up and leaving tomarrow. Yet i know i will :confused: . On top of that all i have is Nurofen +.

Any words of advice.... like how to actualy pass classes or anything similiar to that? ive been drugged my intire life really. 9-14 ritalin or welbutrin, 16-18 alcohol (something like that), 18-21 opiates. I wish i could just pray to the opiate gods and have it rain Oxycotton.

More than half the battle is just going. As long as ur classes are not super gnarly you will pass as long as u just show up for most every class. Unfortunately going to class is also one of the hardest parts. Just know that ur not alone in this trying endeavor. I have to do it also, along with alot of other o-philes.

Yeah, as everyone says, just make sure you make it there. You may find that the thought of it is actually worse than doing it. That's how things usually turn out for me. Good luck!

Show up for class, take notes and DON'T be afraid to ask for help, instructor, tutor or the cutie sitting next to you - nothing wrong with asking for help; between that and studying the material and you should be fine, just don't over extend yourself (like taking 40 million units in your first semester.) Community College has introduced me to a ton of people and opened up a ton of doors for me. It's ok to be nervous but try and think of it as a positive experience and soak up as much as you can..

Oh, and it's tomorrow, sorry couldn't resist :) Google, dictionary.com and Firefox 2.0 have great spell checkers.. Good luck.. Google and wikipedia.com are also great resources for information on nearly any subject..

You should have seen me before. It gave methe energy to get there, drive there, pay attention, etc etc. In fact i wouldnt have been able to go without it. Some days i know i cant take it and i wont those days but in general it helps with my concentration (HUGE IMPROVEMENT) and depression.

Honestly, just go to class... it makes a huge difference with the teacher. Try to do well and once you do I bet you will beging to enjoy it. I returned to college after a few years off and while I hate going and doing the work its really nice to accomplish something.

All I can tell ya, is just SHOW UP to class. I am in college currently, three years in. I hate school as much as the next one, but if you are going to sign up, then ya gotta go or don't waste anyone's time & money registering.

Hell, I have showed up shivering from heroin withdrawal...just something that had to be done. Like someone else said, make it happen anyway you can. The more you are there, you'll see it's not as bad as it first seems. Sure, it's more fun high, but if you don't have anything that you like, just think of how 'fun' it was for me sitting in a three hour night class sweating bullets, shivering, sick from sniffing too much dope and running out too soon.

Also, don't fall into the trap that you 'can't do it without drugs'...that's a load of shit, you can and you will if you have the wil. May not want to since class fuckin blows sober, but you can. I screwed up my second year, and wasted a whole lot of time which I now regret. I would show up, be doing well, then just give up somewhere around the middle and stop going to class. Instead, I would be out drinking, smoking, opiated, whatever. And where did it get me? Nowhere really. You can still get fucked up and do all the things you like while also doing well with class.

I never said i wasnt going to go that wasnt an option. If it was i wouldnt have been freaking out about having to go. I also never thought i had to have drugs to go it just helps - a lot. My addictions are already in place as well, opiates and a fondess for adderall.

Adderall is the only thing you should be using (well, Wellbutrin has worked for me in the past). If you're going to school, become a weekend warrior with the opiate and especially ALCOHOL use ... last year, when I was completing my Master's report, I was on opium tea and overslept so many appointments with my advisor I thought I wasn't going to pass. After he got concerned, I ended up "admitting" to him that I had an alcohol problem (I didn't drink more than a few drops of alcohol at the time) and that I was being treated, and to please be patient and help me by scheduling meeting times later in the day. This doesn't really exist of course with high school equivalency or whatever you're doing, because it's more tightly structured and they would probably boot you for my "excuse," so limit your drug usage to Addy and hit the books!

Also, if you have the IR Addy (which I think I remember you said you had from your other thread) TAKE IT IN THE AM. Even if you have the XR's again take them as SOON as you wake up. Hey, it's even better than coffee :)

If you're still having trouble getting to sleep, take some benadryl on the nights before classes (don't take it regularly). Expect a hangover in the morning, but motivate yourself out of bed by knowing said hangover will be cured by your addy.

I dont know. I dont really take enough to nod its always been a specific point of influence i try to reach. Not to hot not to cold lol. If i have it... which i usualy do i dont see myself waiting untill the weekend. hey man, i'm in the same boat as you. if all goes as planned, i'll be starting school in the fall. i wasted 4 years of my life smoking pot, dropped out of high school (sort of), went from one dead-end job to another, eventually got depressed, tried to self-medicate with alcohol, which makes depression worse, and to top it off, i was on multiple high-dose benzos at the same time. i ended up in a psych ward, where i was detoxed from the constant booze and assortment of addictive pills, cold turkey. it was a hellish withdrawal. i am doing much better now, taking anti-depressants and the like. why am i on this forum? because i like drugs, and want to get any urges to experiment with stuff i haven't tried out of my system before i go to school. won't be satisfied till i've tried H or dilaudid. anyway, i wish you much luck. if you are truly ADD or ADHD, stick with the adderall. if you're having anxiety problems other than those associated with starting school, talk to a doctor about getting on an anti-anxiety medication. also most schools have a disabilities department that will work with you and make accommodations to help offset the problems that ADD/ADHD causes (unlimited time on exams, that kind of thing. be sure to take advantage of those. try and stay away from recreational drugs as much as possible, especially until you get settled and re-learn the self discipline that school requires. after 4 years you're bound to be a little rusty. i know i am. good luck bro! keep us updated.
