I was just wondering if anybody here is familliar at all with customs and exactly how thorough they are? I had a small envelope sent from overseas that may have had a small amount of "air" a very small amount like 1/2 gram, and was sent in a normal small bubbled envelope used for simple letters, I was just kinda stressing over wether they would open small packages like that, because I know they do have the prerogative to search anything, Anybody?

Wrote a reply yesterday then me pc crashed,here we go again.Well Nuke I dont know about Canada, but here in Oz they might check maybe 10% at the most.I have always gotten my pot seeds ordered from Canada, and have only heard of the occasional intercept.And when this occurs the unfortunate recipient receives a letter from customs stating that a package addressed to them has been confiscated and destroyed as it contained illegal substances or whatever.I dont know of anyone whos actually been charged with anything.I know some people who order and send all sorts of shit to and from all over the world,without any probs.As long as you are smart,careful,stick to small discretely packaged or disguised, and NEVER use ya real name.So be clever,careful and dont get greedy and there should be no probs whatsoever.Even though they brag about this bust and that bust, and how since 9/11 etc security has increased,they cannot physically check the millions of daily letters sent into and out of every country,so to actually get caught is extremely unlikely,but it does occasionally occur,GOOD LUCK.

Nuke, I too have no experience of the Canadian customs people but I have had certain - erm - packages mailed to me both here in Australia and in the USA. Most of the time these packages will go through. Sometimes, however, they are seized by Customs, as kramorph mentioned, or by an opportunistic mail worker.

I'm with Peripat and Kramorph in so far as I I've never dealt with Canadian Customs but I have dealt with US customs (which after 9/11 and the anthrax scare should be much worse) and I've never had problems. I've had steroids (schedule VI), MS-Contins, Duragesics, & even ya yo (all schedule II which in the States is the highest still legal for Rx HEAVILY REGULATED group of drugs) from Peru (only about a ball, maybe 3.75gms) shipped to me in a brown envelope w/some bubble wrap w/no issues. To my door courtesy of the United States Postal Service via registered mail. As Kramorph said as long as the package is discreet and it's a relatively small amount you should be alright. Using fake names and sitting on the package for a few days just to be sure the pigs ain't watching is a good idea. Just give it time to cool down. If they're scoping they'll strike in a day or two. If they do strike and the box is still sealed and you claim it's not yours and you haven't opened it than they really can't do anything (unless you're in some fucking fascist right wing psycho neo-conservative area then you may be fucked regardless). In most customs they're looking for the big shit, not the little nothings, so if you keep it low you should be good. Just my experience bro, I hope it helped.Paesan

my expiriance with australian customs must suck totaly then, everything i've send or recived thats in anything other than a normal envelope has been opend. I've had stuff of questionable legality mailed before now though and its been opend and allowed through (sympathetic mail worker..?). My expiriance with canadian customs is limited to a few legit parcles here and there but the bloke i know in canadfa has heeps of dodgy shit mailed to him without issue.

If SWIM was going to order some of those nice 10mg blue generic diazepams that aren't available in Kangaroo land. Are the chances good that they would arrive without incident? And would SWIM have to use a mail box or would SWIM's real addy be ok? SWIM has heard that blister packs set off the alarms. Do many of these liberal minded chemists liberate their products from the bonds of blister packs?
SWIM is too pussy to order them but may have to soon grow some balls.

16 days and counting. I phoned the post office they said I could expect it within 2 2 1/2 weeks. It was only sent in a small envelope so I hope they aren't into opening them like they would larger parcels.

SWIM should get a mail box under false details as a precaution anyway, just in case, this would allow SWIM to order shit without as much risk. Also, if SWIM could have someone else check the mail box then it would be harder to physicaly track SWIM down if all shit breaks loose.

My method: go through the fone book, pick a random address, buy a false ID on the net in a fake name and at the adress you chose. Make a false official looking letter (i modifyed one my psych sent me with appointment details on, and next step shit - which i binned). Fill out a form for mail redirection. In the new adress box put this

It costs AU$11 per month and isnt fool proof but it works. I learned this when i was sleeping on the streets. I needed an adress for stuff and i learned this method off someone else who was sleeping rough. I have had OTC pain killer posted to me without problem but they were OTC and there wasnt anything in the illegal in WA, AU. Duno if that helps, would be interested to know if you get shit posted sucessfully.

Im not worried about that, I don't think they can do jack shit, if you just say you have no idea why it was sent to you they have no proof that you did.

although you may want to concider the position of the person sending it. If you were mooving stuff it may be worth noting that if all hell breaks loose they may also be in a shit position. Just a thaught though.
