Swim was just told their maybe some fent suckers around in a few days. Having never tried fent, swim is concerned about dosage and price. Swim uses oxycodone regularly, well daily, in doses as high as 160mg/day. Now swim doesn't take that much everyday because of lack or money or lack of product, but her dosage is 40mg of oxycodone to keep from feeling too shitty. Does anyone know a dosge conversion between fent and oxy? How much could someone expect to pay on the street for these, swim doesn't want to get taken. The strength is unknown as of now but swim wanted to see what the going rate is for these things. Do you guys like them? If yes why? If no why? I did use the search engine and found a bit of info but some post were very old. Thanks in advance!

there was another thread on this just recently, i can't remember the name but one of the other philes should be able to say, and it has some great info on the suckers.
i've tried them a couple of times, heavy nod, but relatively short lasting. i think they were like 10 bucks a pop at the pharmacy (they were prescribed for a friend after tonsilectimy) but in short i liked them a lot and there is a definitely a technique to maximizing effectiveness subingual or against the cheek with little of no swallwing. i really enjoyed them but it depends if you like a good solid nod these are for you

Does anyone know a dosge conversation between fent and oxy?
Probably goes something like this:
FENT: "Hey, how potent are you?"
OXY: "Well, not as potent as you are, my dear fent."
FENT: "Well, how potent am I?"
OXY: "I've seen some of my friends say you're 100 or more times more potent than morphine."
FENT: "How potent are you, really?"
OXY: "I don't know. Why are we having this conversation?"
FENT: "Well, the person asked what was the dosage conversation between you and I. So we're having a conversation."
OXY: "I'm pretty sure they meant CONVERSION, not CONVERSATION."
FENT: "Oh, that makes sense."

Yea, check the search engine...I mad eposts about suckers being weak for me(the 1600mcgs)...They do not provide a nod at ALL for me....They are fun, and a mellow buzz, but other's on the board have posted otherwise....They were about 25-35 bux each out here for the 1600's, they started at 20, but quickly got popular.....Check the other posts.....

LOL thanks I wondered how those two would get along, seems they are just chatting it up!! :D Thnaks for the info. Guess Swim will just try one out. I checked the search forums and I found two threads with some info. Maybe ike will be around, I saw a good post of his about fent dosage compared to oxy but I can't find the damn thing now. Ike, where are you?
I've seen them go for $15, but I'd guess $30 (and up!) is more what you'd pay from a "dealer" dealer.

Even if you find a dosage calculator it will probably compare the supposed pain killing ability. Fent and Oxy are worlds apart in buzz. It would be like comparing apples and oranges. Sorry for the cliche.

I am a little familiar with the Fentanyl buzz, I had reconstructive elbow surgery last year and the doctor ordered Fentanyl for pain while I was in the recovery room. It was such a blur because of the Versed that I can barely remember what it felt like. Say these suckers swim gets are the 1200mcg ones, would that be too high of a dose for someone who can tolerate 160mg of oxy a day without any adverse side effects?

okay- take this for what it's worth (not much)- I plugged 40mg of oral OC into a very good Narcotic Conversion Calculator, and it says that it's equal to .4mg (400mcg) of fentanyl. Like someone said- that's for analgesic properties, not buzz. I've found that fent takes relatively little to kill pain, and a whole lot to get a buzz. Like everyone is saying, be careful with this one.
The pops are relatively safe- just make sure every minute or so, you take stock of how fucked up you are.

Thanks for the heads up. I remember it working very well for pain when they used it in the hospital. So far today swim has snorted 3 40mg OC and taken 4 Percocet 7.5mg and she is feeling very very nice right now, slight nod. Swim is definatley not a lighweight so she thinks she'll be fine. Fent just scares her because it is so potent and takes very little to have an effect, she has never had it outside a hospital setting and has seen a person very close to her almost die from chewing patches up(something swim would NEVER attempt). Thanks again.
So what is everyone's opinion on these? Like or dislike? Worth the money or no?

I can take 1200mcg (3 or 4 400mcg suckers one after another or two at a time)and I don't take any other opies really. Took some norco for a while before I started. I'm not saying to go ahead and do it- it effects everyone differently. Plus I tend to over do things sometimes. . . I would love to get some 1200mcg suckers though. You don't have to finish the thing. Put it down and save some for later:D

roxi--depending on the price, the suckers are definately worth it. like cb said, you don't have to take all of the 1200 at once. i have both the 400 and 800 suckers, and would have no problem taking 3600 worth when i am really hurting but i am used to them. (the dr really gets pissed if i use that much though, tells me to let him know so he can up the patch instead).
for you, 40 mg of oxy daily would be equal to a 400 actiq but the sucker only lasts for a short time, an hour or two if lucky. if you use 160 oxy almost daily, that would convert to a 75mcg patch daily or the 1200 actiq. again though, the actiq is too short lasting for much more than a couple hours relief.
personally i like the actiq for bt pain but will not get much effect, other than a slight relaxed feeling, unless i take a couple 40 oxy with them. prices i have heard around me are $4-7 for a 400, $5-10 for a 800, $6 to 12 for the 1200, and on the rare occasion the 1600 are around, $10 to 18 depending on amount and also the knowledge of the person selling them.
just take it slow with the suckers because they can sneak up on you. you have had fent before so i would try a half pop, wait about 20-30 minutes, then finish it if everything is ok. you can adjust dosage accordingly after you know the effects of the first one. i would say to be safe and NOT take it within a short time of the oxy at least not at first. moderation is best till you gauge your tolerance.
good luck and hope you enjoy them.

So there you are, driving down the road with a crushed up sucker between your cheek and gums and a whole one in each cheek. . .
Be careful with that stuff.

Thanks, tm420tm, RoadHead, and Chem_boy for the excellent info. Swim would rather be safe than sorry. I will let you know what swim thinks of them when they come around!
