Synthesizing from morphine

I know you can make h from morphine but I have no acetic anhydride.. i saw that I can make noroxymorphone and then into oxycodone from there.. or somethin' like that.. I know a little bit of chemistry, just high school :P What can I do w/ the morphine?

look up the "h without a.a." thread. Search "h from morphine" or some combination of the words herion, morphine, aa, acetic, without. You'll see a lot of bullshit in that thread, but it's interspersed with some good info. I'm pretty sure you can't do much of anything to make morphine into something stronger with household chemicals. And most of the chemicals used in the process of making stong opiated from morphine (like acetic anhydrate) are watched closely and tightly controlled. Be careful.

If you say you can make Noroxymorphone why don't you stick to that? I don't know anything about it but maybe it's better than Oxycodone. I just assume this because it says OXYMORPHONE in the name but names don't mean anything. Methylmorphine is codeine and based on the name you would assume it was stronger because it says morphine.

So, maybe tell us more about NOROXYMORPHONE and find out if it's stronger than Oxycodone and it may possibly be better and you would enjoy it more? Or it could be complete crap and evil. lol. Good luck with that!

NEVERMIND !!!!!!!! from the research i did, I found out that NOROXYMORPHONE is an opiate ANTAGONIST which means you will go into withdrawal if you take it. I'm not saying you dont know this but i'm just writing it for others who may see. I think it would be EXTREMELY dangerous to synthesize Oxycodone from Morphine through the NOROXYMORPHONE route. I read that 125mg of Noroxymorphone is a lethal dosage so if you messed up the synthesis and it turned out to be Noroxymorphone you would be screwed and probably die from what you took or go into major withdrawal. Don't do it! Stick with morphine. Oxycodone isn't that much better.

I am pretty sure that oxycodone is synthesized from thebaine not morphine and that it is a pretty extensive and complicated process. Also, I envy you if you tolerance allows you to beleive that oxycodone is not much better than morphine. the two are like day and night for me. I cannot get shit from morphine, oxy on the other hand with a large enough dose I am feelin good

Okay a couple things:

It's not worth doing all the synth bullshit just to get oxycodone when you already have morphine. If the oral morph ain't cuttin it anymore, slam it (I don't normally advocate IV usage, but it seems safer than the alternative in this case)

Dolophine: The Nor prefix in the noroxymorphine indicates it's an antagonist. Think bupeNORphine.

Roboc- it's really suprising you cant feel morphine. If I had to guess, I'd say you are taking oral (or nasal- non IV anyways) doses of time release morph. All the time-release morphine formulations I've seen- kadian, avinza, ms contin, etc. have a much harder-to-defeat time-release mechanism than oxycontin. So, it's harder to feel in that case, yeah. But if you get your hands on some MS IR, the instant release shit, sniff it and you will be impressed. I used to feel the same way about morph until i tried crisping and the IR shit. It lasts sooo much longer than OC, and the feeling is just more plesant. Try it!

You shouldn't do anything with it other than use it. The process you're talking about isn't some simple cooking up coke type thing and you'd end up wasting most of your M, or really fucking yourself up somehow. And "nor" at the beginning just means generally "without methyl, etc" in this case no N-methyl. Like noradrenaline is one methyl less than adrenaline, etc.

hey,
not worth doing all the chem to try to get a product that is like 5 to 10% stronger than what you have. PLus you could lose a lot in the process and end up with much less of the same thing you started with. Yah a lot of us like oxy way better than morphine, but morphine is still straight, especially if ya bang it. 60 mgs banged morph is like snorting and 80 oxy to swim, and swim likes oxy better than morph. Morphs a good high just a little more sedating.
