Another Drug test ?(sorry)

Heres my situation... Im kicking H cuz my job is starting to give random ua's. And Im using 60mg morphine sulfate er pills to help with the withdrawals. I have a script for darvocet, do they test for each individual opiate, or just opiates in general, I know the test could tell the difference between H and prescription opiates(cuz i asked in another thread)... my question is could I use my darvo script as an excuse for the morphine in my system??, or am i SOL??

I don't think so phunky. Propoxyphene is a synthetic opioid. The morphine in your system is going to be difficult to explain away.

I'm only 31... But in 1988 Metallica was doing their "In Justice For All" tour. I remember smoking a joint and getting FUCKED UP at that concert. I was in 7th grade. I'm just jealous OpiBitch... Those were good times!!!

I read somewhere that alot of prescription opiates metabolize into morphine, does anyone know if this happens with darvocet(Propoxyphene)? And if it does, I should be able to use my script as an excuse for the morphine being present in my piss... right? Also, I havent taken any of the darvos, so there will only be one type of opiate in my system(If that matters).

nope i dont believe it is Propoxyphene that turns into morphine...i think its only codeine and perhaps oxycodone :mad: ...

No, Darvocet does not metabolize into morphine. I wish it did!
