Codeine in Vancouver variety? (no-caffeine, cough syrup?)

Is it difficult to find mersyndol, robaxet 8, or other no-caffeine OTC codeine meds in vancouver? Any personal experiences? I've read lots of accounts of people getting 222's and the equivalents (caffeine, codeine, tylenol) without any issues, but is it the same for the mersyndol? How about cough syrup or muscle relaxers(robaxet 8) with codeine?

I'm headed to vancouver for the new year and am resolving my options for avoiding the inevitable. Thanks!

No theres nothing with codeine but the pills with caffeine sadly. They took it out of cough syrup along time ago.

So I am in Vancouver now and I have to say, this is incorrect. I have had no problem at all getting mersyndol (tylenol,codeine,doxylamine) and robaxet 8 (robaxin, tylenol, codeine). I have tried three places, it went like this:

1.
me: do you have myrsyndol by chance? (still was unsure whether i could get it)
pharm: yes (grabs box, looks at me kinda strange)
i was only given a box of 24
2.
me: can i get some mersyndol? (this time i knew they would have it)
pharm: yes, (looks under the counter) would you like a box of 24 or a bottle of 100?
me: hmm, i think i will give the bottle of 100 a try.
pharm: alright, is that all today?
3.
me: i would like a bottle of mersyndol please, and do you have a stronger version of this (show her generic robaxet i found in the aisles)?
pharm: the one with codeine?
me: yes
pharm: sure
me: actually, could i get two boxes of the robaxet 8 with codeine?
pharm: uh, um, im sorry i cant sell more than two codeine products... blank stare
me: oh right, ok no problem. that is all
pharm: have a nice day

so that pretty much sums it up for anyone going north. Moral of the story, ask for what you want. It is OTC and they have to sell it to you. The above mentioned meds are the best meds you can get OTC so dont ask for anything stronger.

FYI: Mersyndol's additive, instead of caffeine, is a hypnotic/sedative (doxylamine) that I have found to potentiate and boost the effects of the codeine very much.
Codeine cough syrup is a no go.

Alright, so I in case anyone is wondering - if you don't mind dealing with shady people (i would assume its been a requirement for many of us here...) don't bother with the 8mg codeine. The streets of vancouver are alive and kicking and almost entirely full of crack and marijuana, but H is readily available and of good quality. The usual copping advice is very important here - know what you are talking about(dealers feel you out by talking slang and asking lots of questions, if they say a point and you don't know that is $10, trust me you will always get charged $20 - you are instantly naive), don't tell them you are american (i hope that is obvious, this applies to all countries outside the US at the moment. trust me on that one), don't jump on the first obvious dealer, ever, in vancouver no one will ever offer you H, you have to ask for it and again, know your slang(hint, in vancouver the best h is called apple juice ) , crack and crackheads are everywhere in vancouver and are prettymuch worthless and will make you walk 20 blocks so stay away from them.
The areas you need to go will be obvious and you cannot miss them. Dealers are organized. If crack is your thing this is crack heaven (not for me thanks), otherwise just take a walk for a few blocks in these areas and use your radar and it will come to you.
So basically there's your quick guide on finding H in vancouver.

you can easily order codeine containing products from england to usa.

....so don't say canadians have it so much easier than us, when if you would jsut try a 'lil harder you could get the same anti-withdrawal meds

I know of one codeine cough syrup; 'benalyn with codeine'. has codeine, caffiene, DXM and pseudoephedrine IIRC.

i had a friend who got some pills with codeine and acetaminophen. he tried the cold water extraction but didnt do it very well and made a vile concoction. he wouldnt chill and refilter the mix so i left it all to him to drink.
