Hey guys, I'm new to this whole cwe thing and I was wondering if the water could be removed from the extracted hydrocodone/water mixture, and wether or not the extracted hydrocodone could be injected safely. If anybody has any knowledge of this or has tried it any feedback would be very helpful. Thanks

Thanks for the input, but I am curious why, I thought that pretty much any drug that could be dissolved in liquid could be injected.

Paragoric Kid can explain that as good or better than anybody on here. Has something to do with binders and shit not getting filtered out of the mixture and going into your veins and lungs and setting up house keeping.I know it's very risky and can cause you to lose an arm and in worse case scenarios " DEATH " How bout it? P.K. or Candy, need some help here!

Pills are meant to be swallowed, not injected. Colonel Wayne hit it on the head when he said that the binding agents in pills are the killer. If you're looking for a quicker high than swallowing, I'd suggest shafting (that is, sticking the pills up your backside - otherwise known as "the brown method" by one poster here, on another thread.)

I think that beyond the binder issue there is a reason that both codeine and hydrocodone should not be Iv'd, I know that burroughs wrote about a serious reaction to shooting up codeine that was caused by the drug itself and not any binders................
possibly it is the fact that codeine and hydrocodone need to be metabolised in the liver to morphine and hydromorphone, perhaps the oral route allows for metabolism while Iv doesnt allow for sufficient metabolism? Some people shouldnt take codeine and hydrocodone at all because of this, their bodies lack the p450 enzyme, or lack sufficient production of the enzyme to convert the drugs, sometimes this causes allergic reactions, or at least causes the drugs to be ineffective.
I have met people that are either allergic to codeine and hydrocodone, or they cannot feel the drugs at all........

pills that contain talc should not be ivd either, the talc ends up depositing in the lung tissue, and if done chronically can lead to conditions that may cause death.

I've been reading in the forums here that there is a way to convert codeine into morphine. Is there a way to convert hydrocodone into hydromorphone. And if so does anyone know the recipe? By the way thanks for the input about IVing the hydrocodone.

ya the recipie under "oxycodone to oxymorphone" thread..its like bottom of second page...covers it. it dosent reccomend it becuse the yeild is around 15% of starting material, but like i thought..swap 1500 mg of crappy hrdro's for 150-200 mg of dilaudid? HELL YA! dont get too excited the,its a serious project requreing lots of glasware, fucked up solvents like chlorobenzene....in other words a real project, maybe only worth it when working in grams,or pounds...lol
