Hi everybody, I'm new on the board here and pretty new to shooting H. I've felt the withdrawals from other drugs before but this is really only my second time with H withdrawal. I've only been off for one day now and already I had the hardest time waking up this morning and now that I'm up my mind is in ten different places at once and my nose won't stop running. The worst thing though is the cold sweat, I can't seem to get warm but at the same time my body keeps perspiring. Any suggestions?

I don't plan on scoring again to sort this out and I'm just going to ride out the next few days but any ideas to make it as comfortable as possible would be appreciated!

The obvious thing would be to acquire some opiates if you can. Vicodin, Codeine, Tramadol, Percocet... any of these weaker opiates, aren't going to get you high but will alleviate some W/D symptoms.

If you don't have any opiates you're pretty much fucked. Just ride it out. We've all been there.

yeah we have. For everybody, there is one particular symptom that is the worst. For me, it's the sweating and the chills. The chills suck. Hot flashes are bad, too, but not *as bad* as the chills. Heh. My H O.

I hate the chills too. And if you can get a couple blankets over you to get warm you start sweating real bad and you end up colder. I also hate the way every muscle in my body becomes real weak. Just getting up to get a drink is a chore. I have to stop and take a few deep breaths going to the kitchen and back.

Last week when I was dope-sick I watched a show about climbing Mt. Everest. I imagined having to do that dope-sick. I think I have Post-Taumatic Stress Disorder just from imagining how terrible that would be.

I hate this shit soo bad, too. It's always the small of my back. I'm on a very rapid subutex taper right now, so it's pretty much constant. The only thing I can suggest is just keeping a towel next to the bed to wipe the sweat off as it accumulates. And put a blanket underneath you, too. You can take it off if it gets soaked, then put it back down other way up once the mattress gets soaked. There's nothing grosser than waking up at 4am with blankets, pillows and mattress soaked in sweat.

The restless
leg aches are
the worst for me physically.
Mentally the worst
is the anxiety.
