Hey everyone...
I recently was prescribed some Tussionex by my doctor for a cough and sore throat, and I was definitely impressed with the stuff. He gave me a refill but told me that he wouldn't prescribe more than one, so I did some research and I stumbled upon a cough syrup called Codesian (Codeine phosphate) that I can apparently get online without a prescription. The problem is that I can't seem to find any detailed information about it. Have any of you here used it before? Is it anything like Tussionex in it's effects? I know that codeine isn't as strong as other opiates, obviously, so forgive me if this is a stupid inquiry.
Thanks a million!
Hi mr Jig,codeine cougth syrup is still available in the UK as an OTC.300 mg of codeine in a bottle. It sounds similar and if so it works.1 bottle will stop wds for 18-30 hours and if you don't have much of a habit you can get high on it.Ah memories.

Tuusionex contains hydrocodone not codeine. Both are opies but hydro is stronger, better buzz.

That's right. And back before vicodin, lortab, norcos--tussionex was usually the intro to hydros. Everybody I knew in Louisiana was like "what's this *shit*?" because nobody expected the buzz to be that good. My old lady, other people who didn't fix dope, always thought it was Cristmas when they got tussionex, rather than normally prescribed codeine added cough syrup. Of course, once I got *dilaudid* cough syrup and it was the first time I'd *ever* seen a script with *dilaudid* written on it. We got so excited, even though it was syruppy...that was one time deal. People who hit drugstores, after they were closed, would often come up w/bizarro concoctions of cough syrup mixed with opiates, but it was long time ago, and memory plays tricks on me.

I remember raiding medicine cabinets when I was a teen-ager, those big bottles of prescription cough medicine were like striking gold. I slammed many a' Hydrocodone-containg cough syrup. No use for codeine though... too weak.
