sounds like a really dumb idea. withdrawls, for one thing. not to mention the fact that you're injecting nasal spray. would you shoot afrin?
10mg/mL, slightly acidic. What happens is it goes in your vein.

As I read my bottle of Stadol NS, it says it contains (aside from butorphanol tratrate, the active ingredient): sodium chloride, citric acid, sodium hyrdoxide, and benzethonium chloride in purified water. Adjusted to pH 6 with sodium hyrdoxide or hydrochloric acid, if necessary.
The main difference between Stadol NS and Stadol is that Stadol (for IV/IM use) contains sodium citrate in addition to all the above ingredients.
I don't wanna say go ahead and shoot it, but at least now you could look the ingredients up online and see if they can (or will) do harm if injected.

^ its not gonna kill him (i think) it's just a bad idea. Might burn like a mofo, might cause an abcess, might swell up really big. If you want it to hit you in larger doses, dry it and snort the crystals. I'm sure someone here has IV'ed stadol ns in a moment of weakness and will be along shortly to tell the story, but I'd say either dry/snort or squirt it up your arse.
But the big problem here is STADOL CAUSES WITHDRAWLS!!!

^You're absolutely correct. I have first hand experience mixing (unknowingly–stupid me) Dilaudid and Stadol. Just in case anyone has doubts about tm420tm's statement, it's the absolute fucking truth.
True, but he may not be on opiates, just trying to use / abuse his stadol ns via iv. Don't really know because the original question wasn't even actually a question, I mean you could have answered it with somewhere in the world a child will die. I mean, that is true. And I'm not sure what any of this has to do with hydrocodone?

And I think you would have to be on opiates to consider banging nasal spray.

Yes, good point DV Love the new tag BTW (LOL!)
I have had experience with both NS/and IV but would be very hesitant to advise anyone to inject or even use it as directed it without knowing thier history, tolerance, and dose info.

Does Stadol even cause opiate-like effects? I remember looking it up for a friend once, and there wasn't any info about that (eg, whether it causes euphoria). It sounded like some strong, nasty shit!

It's heavy duty stuff, and it does cause withdrawals if you already have a dependence on the full agonists. But if you're new to opiates like I was when I first used stadol ns, it's actually a pretty good feeling. Not bad at all. Two shots for an opioid naive individual (like I was) will make for some pretty wicked vertigo, and a slightly "happy" feeling. Still, it's a different kind of euphoria not necessarily bad, just not like a morphine or hydro type happy.
