I took some of this nigella sativa oil , at work.
my boss has a bad back, and has taken to taking chaste tree during the day to help with pain. this guy would rather take the minimal route to pain relief, and he can get standard pain relievers, but it is not a priority for him. he has a back condition that some of his doctors say he should be on pain relievers for life.
anyway....I gave him some of the nigella sativa oil, and took some myself.

I skipped taking my normal kratom dose , as the nigella oil seemed to be potentiating the standard opiates that I take, morphine and codeine. I find myself all itchy, running my mouth, feeling very good, and realizing that I havnt taken more of anything, but less, I have not upped my dose AT ALL....like I said, I even skipped my normal kratom dose.

nigella sativa is a proven analgesic, with about as much anti-tussive effect as codeine. it is a purported indirect stimulator of the mu opioid receptor...but the activity is not really understood.

all I know is I am itchy, and stimulated, and all from just my normal dose, and a few tablespoons of oil
I have the pure compound thymoquinone, which is the suspected opioid interactive component of this oil, I havnt tried any of it yet, but this incident makes me wonder if I shouldnt investigate further.

the oil is slightly spicy, but mainly tastes like a clean fryer oil, with just a little color to it. I dont think I would want to swallow a 1/4 cup everyday, but it might not be a bad thing to do on a semi regular basis.

MAN, I am itchy....I have not felt like this since I switched from bup to M a few months ago!!

I may have to take some dyphenhydramine and see if it helps with this damn itchyness, and the insomnia that I most likely will experience with this type of potentiation...

the oil is held in high esteem by muslims. Mohammed said that nigella oil would be a medicine in the future of great importance. looking at all the research done on this oil I can see that maybe his vision is becoming more relevant. it seems the oil has many beneficial effects.

probably be a GREAT massage oil, and is not a bad tasting oil for salad dressings. I also think that mixed with a little camphor and menthol, and some xylitol the nigella oil would make a great cough syrup. think I will try such a mixture.

I am now convinced this oil is having some effect on the opiates/opioids that I take. I have taken it some 30-40 times, and much of the time I have percieved a potentiating effect of sorts, but this time it is strong, and I feel pretty damn ecstatic about it right now. it might allow me to cut my medication doseage down a bit and save some money.
could be a great tool mixed with catuama, which is another supposed opioid potentiator that I took today before work.

I dont know what the effect of this oil is alone, it might not really have a noticeably psychoactive effect, but mixed with a nominal amount of other pain relievers and it seems to come alive.

Very interesting, Jacky. Did you take more Nigella on that day than you had in the past? What do you think attributed to the stronger potentiating affects? the additive effect of catuama?

Keep up the great work, Jacky! I love reading your stuff
