Need Advice: New to pill form, Had IV in the past...

Ok guys, I have around 7 tiny blue pills. I think its the 2mg type. I'm so excited and curious about this tiny Dilaudid cache, I don't want to blow it and have either a terrible experience, like OD wise.

2 Years ago I had major surgery to remove an uber-tumor from my internal girly organs. A day after discharge from the hospitatl I developed an Ileus- Which basically means some part of my intestine, the Ileum, was still "sleeping" from the anesthesia. Or something, correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway... the point is that it made me puke uncontrollably, 2 days after getting cut upen directly through my abs. Yeah, that was painful. I thought I would rip right open, for gosh sake. Anyway I was taken to a different hospital, the staff there didn't know what to really. So I was given anti-nausea via a new uncomfortable IV site and it worked, but the pain was past the 1-10 scale. The nurse comes back in, narrows her eyes, and says "Now don't get used to this". I watch as she injects the Dilaudid through the line, totally clueless. Yeah, clueless until it hit me like a train!!! The high was so glorious, I thought I saw god (and I'm an atheist), my back arched back in ecstacy, and that was just the beginning. I stayed at that hospital for 4 days/5 nights, making sure I totally milked the Dilaudid availability, every 4 hours.

That is my blabber about my past experience with it. I humbly ask what's the best way to handle this situation. I'd like to make the pills last.

Ok. Either I am high or blind; I can't seem to find any way to edit my post. Well anyway I swallowed one about two hours ago, to no effect. I can't believe it, what a total let down. 20 Minutes ago though I snorted one and now I feel slightly foggy/high but... I keep thinking, shouldn't I be higher or something???

The 2mg pills are not that strong. It takes me a good 16mg's in a shot (IV) to get a good nod going. I dont see what the problem is though, if you snorted 1 and got a tiny rush, then snort 2 and work your way up. If your not an IV user, I would highly recommend to not become one, but that is really the only way dilaudid works its magic. Any other route is pretty worthless.

I'm guessing you don't mess with narcotics. My first time was with demerol and it was heaven. now when I get it it is never like the first time. If you are not feeling anything awsome (the wonderful floating nod, Id snort another, it doesn't even compare with shooting. but if you wait too long betweeen your next pill you may not achive the wonderful bliss, but you must not go overboard. I would wait a half hour between doses, enjoy

Ickyuk- snort 'em - it's not the rush of IV, but much better availability than swallowing. Your stomach acid is destroying most of the active ingredient before it hits the bloodstream. Sniff 2 and see how you feel. Then sniff 3. Then 4 then 5 etc etc until you are ONE OF US HHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Eating or snorting to a lesser extent is a waste. What you felt when the nurse gave you IV Dilaudid cannot be felt from oral or nasal administration. The only way to get that feeling is to shoot it. Even if you IM'd or SC'd it, it still wouldn't have that "rush" that you felt.

I'm not advocating that you shoot it if you never have done it...it's a nasty habit and trust me: you will want more when you run out of those 7 pills...

If it was me, I would never have put those in my mouth or nose...they would've been straight in the arm or nothing at all. 2mg is a small dose, but if you're not tolerant (which it sounds like you are) then it is more than enough.

Again, I'm not trying to get you to start IV, because I'm not. But if you're going to do it, get the right information and do it right. That is if you must do it.

But you won't feel anything near the effect that you felt in the hospital any other way.

-moviebuffYeah, moviebuff is right, IV is the way to get maximum mileage out of dillies, but I don't feel right advocating IV use to a noob. I'm sure if she was an IV user, she would have done it right out of the gate and not bothered with swallowing, especially with dillies. So, snorting is the middle ground- bypass the stomach, but no holes in the arm. I don't IV (personal decesion, I don't judge those choose to) and I have gotten plenty high off snorting dillies. I'm sure it's not the same rush at all, and I'm using more to get to the same point, but if you don't IV, it's the best method.

You could also stick them up your arse. Seriously. It might even be better than snorting- i've never tried dillies this way, but the concept is simple enough. Plug 'em! Just make sure you wash your hands when you're done. Don't want to get poo on the keyboard!

Edt: I leave any arse business to my Gastroenterologist, but TM gives me an idea. Maybe I could somehow smoosh them into a cortisone suppository..

Ok, I take that "I'll save what I have left for as long as I can" part back. I ended up snorting the rest; not in one big bump, which is what I should of done. Instead I did it kinda intermittently since last night.
Didn't get nice warm fuzzy high, which was kinda a letdown. Well I did sorta get high, as in happy, talkative, and willing to complete tasks I normally hate like housework. Also am very energetic! But that could be due to the Provigil I take as prescribed.
I'll be able to score some more hopefully round Xmas.

this is a joke of course because that would be illegal

the point is that dilaudid sucks unless injected... i'm like an old man that tells the same stories all the time but once I almost got busted and I was inside a restaurant getting escorted out (something about the rig not flushing in the b'room or whatever) anyway I stopped by the gum machine and bought some gum and mumbled something about the onions in my food or whatever...

anyway I had a shitload of k4s in my pocket (well a shitload for me considering at the time I was paying $15 each), no less than 10 of them, and I popped them all in my mouth and started chewing with the gum...

I did feel something, of course I'd also done a 16mg shot less than 10 min before, and the gum kept going (slow release I guess) but of course they found nothing on me and had to let me go.

long story short was that (a) i tricked the cops into letting me eat my stash, (b) that one shot ended up costing me almost $200, (c) only by the grace of L. Ron did I stay out of jail, and (d) - and this is the most important - you can't get high (enough) eating dilaudid
