"Pain Cocktail"

SWIM came across something new on the streets, at least new to her. Something called a pain cocktail, a liquid made up of several different opiates. It sound like one stop shopping for death in my opinion. Has anyone ever heard of this, or something like it? SWIM just said no to that idea but was curious if this is something new or if SWIM just hadn't come across it before?

This would be a combo of different narcotics usually reserved foir terminal patientsand/ or those with a very high tolerance. Or the type formulated fro use in nrusing homes hosoice type settings. Assuming it is an RX

And yes without knowing hat exactly is in it and if your tolerance is not EXTREMELY high this could potentially be courting a fatal OD

remember the "bromptons" cocktail? or something similiar sounding.

camphor, cocaine, opium tincture, some sort of alchohol, gin I think. stir the slurry, and let it down the hatch....for chronic pain, back in the day, still relevant today.

thing is, I think camphor and opium are opposing....opium is the fix for camphor overdose...and camphor is supposed to relieve opiate intoxication.

Ill go look up the REAL recipe, and report back.

also, opiates and absinthe are GREAT together....just dont plan on sleeping much.

looks like recipes vary.....

one post states that a pharmacist and son were compounding this mixture, and the morphine was not ground up as well as the cocaine. the son wondered if this would increase the effects of the cocaine, and give the person a rush, as opposed to having the morphine finely ground.

personally I dont think it would make much of a difference.

I used to shoot speedballs in the morning....but always one shot of cocaine first, with the remedy close at hand already preloaded. this would cause me to take a shit, a blessing for a heroin addict.

I dont really like cocaine that much, the rush of course, but not the extended irritation. so I would give the rest to my now ex wife.

an oral solution sounds decent though.

a few years ago I was experimenting with coca leaf. ground fine and mixed with pod tea. the cocaine content was more than enough for me. 150 grams of coca leaf cost me 20$......10 grams contained maybe around a 1/4 gram. the result at high altitudes was relief of altitude side effects, and a fine time being paranoid at every deer that crossed our campsite.

BDG- is this "coctail" packaged in anything or just in a dixie cup? I'd love to try some of the Dr. Brompton's- that was back when medicine was civilized and they treated a dying person with respect and compassion. Now that the DEA is fucking with people's prescriptions, it'll never happen again. Dicks.
