Hey guys, I was wandering if anyone else has heard of this. I did a search for it, and didnt see any threads about it, so I thought I would start a thread. I am assuming it is similiar to a PCA pump. It is a small box which delivers fentanyl transdermally using a small electric shock. I'm not sure if the doses are controlled by the patient, or if it is limited in the same way a PCA is, but I just thought it seemed pretty cool.
It has been a while since I read the article, and I cant remember what journal it was published in, but it may only be used for in-patient analgesia. If anyone has any info on this system, I would like to hear about it. Im not really a fan of fentanyl, but it is still interesting.
