I ran a search but couldn't find anything for this video so I'm pretty sure it hasn't been posted here.

Heres an amazing documentary of a long time heroin and methadone user who turned to the controversial substance: Ibogaine to treat his addiction. Very interesting and it certanly raises the question, does this stuff actually work? Would any of you ever consider it as a possible route out? I can't say I've become a full blown opiate user time will tell, I for one think this is certanly something I would consider if I felt I had hit "rock bottom."

Do search for Ibogaine here. You'll see all kinds of good stuff on the subject as well as reports from people who have tried it. Its from a really long time ago but its there.

I would like to try ibogaine. Not to detox, although I would consider that route if (when) the time comes, but because I love psychedelics.

From what I've read on Erowid, Ibo is pretty whacked shite.

For opiates, I'd say discipline, discipline, discipline. Lower your dose slightly over a period of time until you can tolerate the new dose. When you're low, jump off the ship. It's how I quit ciggies (that and Wellbutrin) and how I dropped pods the first time (and dropping pods is HELLISH).
