mouth swab test help

swim wants to get a job at the cable company but they do mouth swab drug tests at the interview and whatnot. does standard cleaning kits work for such a test, if not is there anyway to pass it even though swim smokes da bud a lot and happens to have an opie habit.

we could use your guy's help here! thanks a lot.

As far as I heard, it may have changed, but there is no beating it. Some things don't show up in large quantities but they're just looking for the fact that they are there, sorry.

what is the duration? Like how long out can you test posative with these? I'm wunderin myself cuz they do them where I get tested.

Saliva Tests

Are a little more expensive than urine testing, but less than hair or blood. (~$15-$75).
Are considered a relatively unintrusive method of drug testing.
Are becoming more common.
Are easy to administer but require lab processing to ensure accuracy.
Detect use primarily within the past few days.
Can detect more recent use than other testing methods.
Have no nationally accepted standards or cutoff concentrations for detection, making results greatly dependent on the specific product purchased. This could also make results less-reliable and/or acceptable for legal cases.

Seems the info is old, but they are doing the mouth swabs by the cops in the land down under, so I'd believe anything I read from any aussie on the subject.

Had a rather odd experience re a mouth swab test a while back, and thought it might be of interest to you. SWIM's missus had to do a swab test for the job she applied for, and it is a fact that she had taken perc tens daily for the previous two weeks or so, and smoked bud with about the same regularity.

She went in for the interview and did the test, approximately 16-24 hours after last use of both substances. She was chewing gum prior to the test, and got a call back a few days later wanting to know when she could start the job, so while YMMV, from that experience, the saliva tests seem to be rather inaccurate/ easy to confuse.

Chew a shitload of gum beforehand, and try to lay off for a day or so. While it may or may not always work, I know it worked for Mrs SWIM.

They do sell mouthwashes at head shops for this type of thing. Although I personally have never had to use one (I just give up on pursuing jobs that require anything but urine), I understand that you have to swish this stuff around for a matter of minutes before your test and then you have a slim time limit after you finally spit it out that it remains effective.

I’ve always thought the logistics of using that stuff would be difficult. Going to the bathroom just before you submit to your test just seems too shady to pull off.
