He just played at my university. I was considering going, but didn't want to pay the $40 for a ticket (even if I had the money for it).

He looks like a corpse now.

I was also thinking seriously
of going to Lou's show, MC;
Same place. Unfortunately, I happened to be
flat broke that week.
I was sorry to have missed him,
though.

It's a perfect day;
I'm glad I spent it with you.

He looks like a corpse now.

I saw him on TV not too long ago. He didn't look too bad in comparison to Keith Richards or David Crosby. This is considering knowing that he was born in 1944. I thought da dawg and DD were old, sheesh.

although that is a fantastic song kyusser, to quote the Dictators in "Two Tub Man", "I think Lou Reed is a creep".

yer welcome :)

And I don't care
if he is a creep
or looks like a corpse.
He admits he has no friends
and that he's an asshole.
I could care less.
I love his music.
It's the troubled fuckers
who have all the talent-
the two go hand in hand.

Kyuss, I'm with you there.
Lou reed is an incredible talent
with a voice that soothes me
when there's a Mexican Hat Dance
going on inside. He contains
a perspective on life
that tells me he is a
man who belongs to himself.

Well, some people get green balloons, while others get blue elephants. It's not my decision; it just happens.

You, Brother Nick, already had a blue elephant all this time - perhaps I just forgot to tell you.
So: http://clicksmilies.com/s1106/tiere/animal-smiley-041.gif Here it is.

Once you get a green balloon or a blue elephant, you can share it, but it's yours, always and for all time. Once again, I remind you that this is not my doing, but I am only the messenger. Sometimes it's a tiring job, but someone has to do it.

Kyuss, I love you, too....I will say it again, and again. http://clicksmilies.com/s1106/liebe/love-smiley-045.gif

Oh, boy! You've heard it? Sheesh! I have the lyrics on my kitchen wall and I have several Lou Reed cd's, but I don't think I've ever actually heard the song. And I LOVE chocolate egg creams! Not many folks outside of NYC know what one is.
