The thing I get with DXM is creatures. I've always figured this was some sort of mental fuckup of my own. Especially the Dragon. The Dragon appears outside my window(whereever it be) and he talks to me soothing tones and tries to calm me. I used to think this was my ID trying to direct me to opiates, but the Dragon has been been there far longer than any opiates.
The Dragon and I have some nice conversations, some fun, some not so fun, and some painful.
I'm just curious if DXM produces realistic creatures* for anyone else ?
*By realistic creatures, I'm sure that Dragons exist, and that its not some Freudian metaaphor. Don't ask.

The only creatures I've ever encountered were DMT elves. Give those a try one night, if you're in the right mindset and have somebody looking after you.
I also found the DMT elves. On DXM I always just wake up somewhere doing something strange. One time I was looking through the garbage for something, I'm not sure what.

I was nearing the end of a cold yesterday when i came to the realization that i no longer needed the remaining 400mg of dxm for my cough, so in an effort to experience some of the glory of my ketamine days I ate it. of course it just wasn't the same... but sure did feel nostalgiac.
my mind would always presents some weird ideas when i take a medium dose of ketamine or dxm, but never entities. i guess the closest thing to entities i expereinced was an accidental k-hole at a rave. In a nutshell, after dropping and being placed on a couch, i percieved myself as a glob of paint, ebbing and flowing, intermingling with other differently colored globs.

I have always preferred to do more than the dose required to do the above to me. Ideally my eyes will contribute nothing to the experience, and though hearing music while going into the hole helps set the mood, the dose should be high enough to disable auditory input.
yup, if there ever was an anti-social addiction to have, K would qualify

Back in college, with high-doses of LSD and Ambien, I've seen a whole tiny little circus (like the size of a softball) on top of my blankets. It was there, plain as day.
And yea, on Ambien, auditory hallucinations are really common- thinking you hear someone call out your name, you look around and nobody is there, etc.
