WTF codience in gelcaps?

OK so hi guys, i just got some codienes down in mexico called Tylex CD they contain 30 mg of codiene phosphate and 500 mg paractamal, and well i just took 5 of em and i dont feel jack shit so far..maybe because ive been doin some drinkin n taken 6 mgs of xanax 2 day. So do u guys think i got sold some bunk shit...i mean it came in unopend bottles n i got it from a pharmacist...or w/e do u guys think i should do a CWE,.. wel i kno i should but these t\little fuckers come in these strange ass gel caps that r white n say cilag cilag on the pills, n ive nvr seen codinces like this. so ne way should i do a cwe on those so i can hope to get fucked up or will these not work since they n gel caps...i wouldnt even be askinb this shit its just that ive neeeeeeeeevvvvvvvverrr seen codiuences n gel caps like tis. Well codiene is pretty hard to get fuckered off of. And yeah do a CWE, unless you're not able to then try keeping it under 4000mg / day. It's possible that you got sold bunk pills, but it's more probable that codeine just sucks. I think the ceiling limit for codeine is around 450mg, I could be wrong.

Thxyou dv but codiene isnyt hard for me tgo get fucked up on i have no tolerance, i dont think they were bunk neither cuz they came n a bottle n shit unopend. plus the xaxax i gotg works wounders. u might be right bout the shitty codeince in fact tho, so fuck it im just gunna extraxct 400 mgs worth of codiene outa the pills 2 morrow , see if it does ne thingt and hope i dont die :) , i think 400 is the ld50 ne way so ima bake some up when i wake up tommorw... should be a fun druged out day for mey, i thinnk the the damn texicanos (no offence to ne mexis-im half mexn half tex ne way) did rip me off. rofl i had to pay like 200$ usd for four scripts so i think i already got jacked. but of course i went to the first pharmacia i saw so i guess it severvs me right lolol.. They could be fake.To find out do a CWE as that nice DV suggests.Codeine really isn't that strong.Hell dihydrocodeine codeine isn't that strong.

You might also want to try them without alcohol and benzo's in your system to see if you feel the codiene before you add any thing else into the mix.

Actully that was me under a dif screen name, (silly name i kno), i had just forgoten my password ect.
SO ne way i ended up doin a CWE extraction- microwaved about a cup or 2 of water till hot...then opend teh pills n let them disolve by stiring for 5 mins...then i added ice till it was very cold and filtered threw coffe filters...now my finish product was not clear like the color of water...which makes me think i didnt remove all the codeine...i mean it was clear just not crystal. Do you guys think i did my extraction right? or should the final solution have been crystal clear?... i also did not save any of teh white goop... and i think i read somewhere else that you can do another cwe with that to extract any remaining codiene... SO im asking 1) even though my product wasnt crystal clear, did i do it right? 2) can i actully do another cwe on the white powder goopy stuff already extracted from? Oh an 1 more thing....this stuff tasted godawful...is there anything i can do to make it taste better?... is the bad taste a sign i did it wrong n have the tylenol left over n it? Am very interested in what you guys/gals think on this and would love to hear some responses, as i am going to make another batch tonight....

It doesn't take very much water at all really. You don't need like say, a whole glass worth for 10 pills. You would only need maybe a shot glass worth. I think you're using too much water so you end up drinking a shitload. To cool it down put it in the freezer and wait for it to just about start forming crystals, then you know you got it plenty cold. Wet the coffee filters first with cold water then pass the water through it. When I did it the fist time I kinda pushed the water through, then I filtered again once all the white goop was out. No your solution won't be perfectly clear, but as long as your water mixture was real cold you shouldn't have to worry. Most of the APAP is out. Opiates unfortunatly taste very bitter, just a harsh reality. It's not actually too bad I don't think compared to alcohol. Put some cool-aid mix in it if you must, but being as how you really shouldn't have much more than a shotglass or two to down just gulp it down and chase it with something. Yeah, supposedly you could re-filter that white sludge, but I wouldn't. Not much in there. Search CWE and it will tell you aprox how many ml of water you need per pill, it's not all that much though.

It sort of depends on your own definition of “right.” Personally I try to do it so that I’m left with a few doses acetaminophen in it, instead of losing more codeine to get a purer product. If you’re looking to remove all the acetaminophen that you can, then I’d say you didn’t really do it right, but from where I stand, you didn’t do it wrong either. If it was a chem lab your product would fail, or at least get maybe 3/5 or something, but this isn’t class, and so purity doesn’t really matter. If it isn’t too cloudy to see through then you’ve got rid of enough.

As for mixing with alcohol, bad bad idea. Codeine is really bad for respiratory depression. When younger I got close to 700mg, and you don’t get any higher, you just breath less, a lot less. Lower doses then that, lower doses then the 400mg you’re doing, combined with alcohol can be pretty dangerous.

The only time I ever wound up in a hospital for an overdose was due to codeine and alcohol. Around 25 ounces of straight 40% whiskey combined with a relatively low level of codeine, I don’t remember how much, stopped me breathing. Sat down to watch a movie, closed my eyes, opened them up again to a nurse asking if I was ready to stop fighting, and if she could take the restraints off. I guess I got violent as soon as I was shot full of narcan, which I thankfully don’t remember. Also luckily at the time I was only 16 or17, and not yet dependant, so the narcan didn’t send me into withdrawal.

Now even though I live in Canada, land of the OTC codeine, I wouldn’t go near that stuff again, especially because of the level of caffeine. I really don’t need the buzz of 10 cups of coffee, no thanks.

there is no LD50 info on humans.
400mg isn't going to kill someone unless they have absolutly no tolerance even then I doubt it unless they are hypersensitive to codeine. still if you are inexperienced with codeine it would be wise to try half of that dose first.

Been to mexico maybe three times in the last year, everytime to different areas. Each time i got ahold of some codeine's they were fakes. The benzo's and somas were always legit, but the codeine's were worthless each time. Friends of mine have gotten real codeines, but my experience has been pretty bad lately, now 8 years ago...it was a different story. So just keep that in mind, they were never gelcaps though so, who knows?

Ya 405 freeway im sure alota those guys down there r scammers, but the ones i got were real...sucks tho i think i did my last extraction badly...or didnt drink enough water after i was done...cuz yesterday my liver n whole body was feelin like shit...maybe its cuz i did a codiene binge for 4 like 8 hours, or was withdrawin from it/or benzos... who knos ;/. my pills say Cilag Cilag on em n there made by Janseen cilag i belive...they are the wierdest codienes ive ever seen...pure powder n side em, but they sure do get the job done... woot
