Kratom Trials and Tribulations

Well I have always used kratom in its straight leaf form and made tea, reading that extracts arent quite as good and more expensive. however I felt I had to try, so along with the regular leaf, I ordered some Fresh resin extract, a 15x extract, and I also ordered an ounce of this red vein stuff, its always been on backorder everytime Ive seen it and its almost twice as much as their regular stuff, they limit it to one ounce per customer per order......curious as to how good its gonna be.....
For reference I have always purchased from Iamshaman, and thats where these products are from. Will report back when my stuff gets here

Ok so all else aside, they kept me from WD effects and a mood booster but compared to making tea from it the kratom resin and powdered extract are CRAP not even worth writing it up about. I will however post again comparing the regular leaf to this fancy almost twice as expensive leaf thats always out of stock i got my hands on.....I also think that a liquid extract may work, but the powdered is crap. I mean it will still help w/WD but its not comparable to good ol leaf.

I will say that while I didnt get a big positive effect from Kratom resin/powdered extract, like I do from the tea it definitely halted any W/D for the entire day and kept it mildly upbeat...so I guess thats not bad. If you're trying to fly straight those would definitely be worth looking into. Much less of the buzz compared to tea but still kept W/D away.

Ok tried the "Red Vein" stuff tonight from iamshaman. Oddly enough the "red vein" kind is all white veins with a slight red hint here and there. The commercial stuff they sell has red veins though...weird
It had a different aroma, much sweeter smell, the leaves were also much drier and by the end of brewing all the leaf had come off the stems unlike the other Ive tried.

Anyhow downed roughly 18-20g tea(thinking this expensive stuff might be strong), after 20 min felt a little sedated but not much else, finished off the remainder of an oz. about 20 minutes ago, got a little rush of energy but thus far I am dissapointed overall. I have hit some heavenly heights off kratom several times. unfortunately this last experiment with the resin and extract powder wasnt one of them. Damnit. I don't think my tolerance is this high, maybe it is =/

Moral of the story? BUY REGULAR COMMERCIAL LEAF AND MAKE IT INTO TEA FOR THE BEST EFFECTS!
Also I may experiment with different final drink sizes. Usually i cook a it down to about 4 oz per dose I know the time i got the best buzz off of it I was w/ding and maybe only made it into 6 oz.

I'd have to agree with you. My experimentation of kratom has always lead me back to the super premium microfine. I just mix it with juice. I paid quite abit for this 10x stuff and NOTHING.
