My name is Clare Waismann and I am here to answer any question regarding detoxification under anesthesia. At this point we treat the highest levels of opiates in the country with a unsurpassed success. We treat patients in an acute hospital with dignity and respect. I can tell you that at this point over 70% of our patients are pain management patients.
If there is any questions I can answer for you, I will be more than happy to. Our website is www.opiates.com (http://www.opiates.com/) if you would like to get more information.

I've got to be very skeptical when the medical director of the institute says "I stand toe-to-toe with these other pain doctors who think chronic pain needs to be treated aggressively. I just don't agree that OxyContin is the way to treat it." what does he expect doctors to prescribe? NSAIDs?

What we mean wit "treating pain aggressively", is you have to treat the cause of the pain, and not medicate the symptoms and ignore the injury, because in the long run you will acquire another problem....
