Okay dexers, lets hear some war stories about vomiting from the consumption of or the come up on dextromethorphan. There exists in our wonderfully fucked up world, a breed of people that can down the tasty Satan berry flavored psychonaught syrup without even a single heave. However, most are not so lucky, so lets hear some battle stories about how tussin waged war on your esophagus.

I mean, atleast as a junkie I gets some respect from fellow users. Tell anyone you get wasted on cough syrup / liquid gells and that's about the end of your respect right there. Hang your head in shame, tear your clothes, and sprinkle ash on your head, cause the pedophile down the street isn't even looked down on quite as much as you are. LOL. DXM is a habbit best kept secret ... :D you know waht I'm talkin about. Too bad those dumbasses OD'd on powder from that one site with the white background. That powder sure was nice!
^^^ Think it was called LTK research chemicals. All white background, black text, big dislaimers everwhere. Really shitty website. Sold diphenhydramine and a few other weird chems too.

You hit right on a point that I was considering creating a thread for. DXM is actually a stereo (or dextrorotary which ever you prefer) isomer of Levorphanol, a very wonderful opiod used for treating pain. While opiate users may look down on recreational dextromethorphan users, it is an undisputable fact that DXM is far more than a simple anti-tussive. The wonderful thing about DXM is that it is only mentally habit forming. I find the drug to be respected quite a bit more than most would like to admit to. Withdraw clinics are still looking at DXM as a tool to help withdraw patients detox. I can personally vouch for the fact that opiate withdraws become far less or completely null in my case when I dose for a week or two with DXM.
On the OD factor with powder...here is the problem with DXM that most people simply don't take the time to become educated on; DXM needs to be in a suspension to be properly metabolized. Your liver breaks down dextromethorphan into dextrorphan, witch is the chem that you wan't at any rate. If you simply put the powder into capsules and swallow them, the dextromethorphan molecules are going to hit your liver in little clumps witch makes it harder to break down. Since the DXM is not being broken down efficiently, you get a higher DXM/DXO ratio in your blood witch in itself can be a bad thing. What commonly happens next with inexperienced dick heads that don't take DXM seriously as a drug is that they redose too soon because they arent feeling the effects as fast as they think they should. At this point, the liver is already struggling to break down what you have already improperly fed it. On top of that, the redose will soon be in the blood stream, and eventually it's lights out for the dumb asses.
PEG or alcohol should be used to make DXM soluable for breakdown. The agent lemon method also works as an acidic base extraction and suspension method for consuming large amounts of DXM in small amounts of liquid. All this being said, I think I might just have to make a DXM appreciation thread...because I love the drug. I have dabbled from H to shooting anything opiate, and I still have much respect for Dextromethorphan

I never use to puke in the old days from DXM. The most I ever took back then was roughly 900mg in syrup form. Course it is going on ten years since I have ingested that chemical for the purpose of tripping. I did recently take a little too much for what I was trying to do- I had taken some hydro and was seeing if it was true that you could poteniate the hydro with it. I went and drank a little bottle of generic syrup with 3 or 4 flexerils mixed in after I had taken my hydro. Only when I finally looked at the lable did I realize that this tiny-ass little bottle had about 200mgs of the DXM in it. I didn't have a full on trip, just a hint of one with a bit of freeze-frame strobing going on. Did blow chunks though. . .I just can't handle my chemical cocktails like I used to in my druggy days (daze?). Can't say that it did shit for the hydro, though. . .

Now that was a spew worth claiming right there!...any coctail spew is good enought to claim. Any way, why must it be so laughable to drink cough syrup? People used to drink syrup to get their opiates, now kids drink it to get their synthetic opiates cause it is cheap. For the life of me, I can't locate a difference worth noting beside the synthetics.

I was actually in CVS the other day, shopping for opiate potentiators, and they had the 20mg DXM only gelcaps (some generic brand). Do you think I should buy a bottle? I really don't want to take enough to feel psychoactive effects of DXM, I'm through with psychadelic experiences. Would 40-60mg be enough to potentiate opiates without any psy. effects?

I gotta admit, after having done excessive amounts of cough syrup in the past, I have no lookin-down-upon attitude towards Roboheads. That said, I think if I wanted to trip again that I would limit myself to low-dose acid, shrooms, or mesc. That ain't saying nothing against cough syrup, but after this last experience I definitely have moved past that phase in my life. Other than good old 'cid, it is the most economical solution for the tripping enthusiast.
Yeah, DXM is not quite like slamin junk .. but it's not smokin pot either. Wish the kids would just stick to sniffing glue. DXM is a serrious fuckin drug. Now you can't get powder easily cause a few retards bought 3k mg and dumped it all in their OJ and drank away. And I mean, jesus, it's pretty fuckin hard to OD on DXM. I mean, for a first time user 100mg is going to scare the holly shit out of them.
Anyways, to add to the topic of the thread now that I've thought about it, I have vomited on DXM before a couple of times ... and it was not pleasant. Puking on opiates is nothin, pukin on DXM is painfull and best avoidid if possible.
If you can drink some mountain due while you're trippin. You're not going to be able to eat a lot, but if you let your stomach become too empty and you start dry heavin, it's not pleasant. Keep some liquid in there. Sucks when you gotta take a piss and you're there waiting for 2 mins .. but it's better than letting your stomach run empty.

It didn't help out my hydro at the 200mg mark, but I have heard that if you use too much it just masks the opie buzz. try it out and let us know!

Deffinetly, especially if you've no tollerance to DXM. Just keep in mind that they take FOREVER to kick in. Take the liquid gels like, 2-3 hours before you dose on your opiates. Pain in the ass, but they do work as a potentiator, and they have a long half-life and can help with w/d's I'd start with 40 to keep away from any stimulant / psychadelic type affects.

Well, between you and I the difference is nothing. Somni god's stinky ass tea is 10x's harder to put down than a bottle of robo. But to the outside world, they just want to laugh cause they don't think DXM will do anything to ya. Everydody I know thinks kids do it cause it's like alcohol, and they all ask me, why not just drink alcohol? hah.

My first time was about 350mg. I drank it not thinking anything was going to happen. I sat down just after it started to kick in and watched The Wall. Anyways, it was a white-knuckle experience, but not at all unpleasant. You are right, though. For somebody who doesn't realize that they are going to have a full-on drug experience, or who can't handle a trip, it could be bad news.

LOL, sounds like fun. I've been off DXM for about a year now and my tollerance will_not_go_down. I think it just sticks with ya forever. I use it to potentiate, and help come-down, but not at high doses anymore. It lost the magic. And maybe like you said, you overdid the DXM a bit and killed the hydro buzz (which would have been really weak anyways.) I don't know about you but I need atleast 100mg hydrocodone to even get my attention.

Oh no way dude, there was no fuckin stoppin me on DXM. Those first 100 trips were the best experiences of my life !! I'd do anything to get that magic back again. I haven't taken a high dose of DXM for a long long time hopping to get something back .. You've inspired me though, I'm going to try 600mg tonite since I've no opiates or anything else fun around. I may just be posting another puking story in your thread here, who knows :p I'm hopping for that exstacy on earth, mass dopamine euphoria though. How I miss it. Sure there were 4, or 5 difficult expereiences, but as you went on you learned how the drug was going to react. It became my ritual.

make sure to have an extra bottle of gels in your arrsenal....breaks are tricky beasts with DXM. You might fare well with a .9 gram trip

Oh, don't get me wrong the puke speeds up the DXM come up ever so quick....I don't hate puking from a dose a few times, but puking dosens of times just slows down the fun.....unless you are outside at night in a rain storm, and in that case puking is my friend. I'm totally DXM ignorant, haven't taken it except in normal, theraputic (cough) dosages in over 5 years. What's the smallest dose that would effectively potentiate a good OC buzz? Is it that effective where I need to decrease my OC dosage?

Wasn't expecting to find this thread but it brings back memories of high school. The was this syrup cult following where I lived and it was a 2-3 times a week habit for me. I loved tripping, probably still do just never get the oppertunity anymore. Well to get to the point of puking, I only did once. It was a pretty bad experience, in fact the first real bad experience with any drug for that matter. My older brothr and I were bored and I broke down and told him about cough syrup. He didn't believe me that it fucks you up. So we ent and bought a bottle a piece. It was name brand not the store brand tussin and I wasn't used to it. I to this day think the seal was broken on mine. So we dosed and an hour later we took some rips at a friends house. Actually It didn't take much smoke for me in those days and I was forcing to be cool, then it hit me... I remember seeing this liquid wall like on Terminator 2 and it just flew past me and I was in it . The easy rider poster on the wall looked like I had seen it on a carousel or something. It was in motion, then I new I was about to be in bad shape. I got up to leave this guys apartment and next thing I knew my brother was picking me up off the floor he was like "fuck you just passed out" and then next thing I remember after that I was flat on my back outside and my brother was slapping my face trying to make me conscious again. He said I had thrwon up all over the sidewalk and that we needed to get me the fuck out of there. Since we lived in the same complex as the guy we were hanging out with I didn't think it was a big deal but then again, I had never blacked out before. My brother was helping me walk and I tried to calm him down by talking as normal as I could telling him I was fine and that I could walk myself. Next thing I know I'm on the ground in some serious pain. I had blacked out and fallen face first into the sidewalk. He carried me the rest of the way back and I puked for half an hour, but I felt like I was going to die, my head hurt and I was freaked out pretty bad. I had done this so many times with no bad experiences so this worried me too. MY closed eyed visions were of red clouds, like I was hovering above them. That mixed with the fear of death was pretty scary to deal with but I passed out again and woke up a few hours later tripping and walked into the living room to find my brother and his friend watching Tron, which was pretty cool at the time. Since my brother had never done it and was tripping himeslf, he was pretty freaked out and nearly took me to the hospital, probably should have gone, but I kicked it. Yeah that one sucked, haven't puked since, but haven't done it but maybe 10 times since too. I've read it causes onley's lesions and that the agent lemon extract isn't 100% acurate according to something I read a while back on erowid. Sorry to ramble, I t was may favorite drug for 3 years and I loved the trips especially camping.

I wasn't able to answer how the night went before because I was reading at work and the proxy I use is a pain in the ass, and so is keeping others from seeing what I'm doing.
The night actually went really well. Didn't get sick at all. I had quite a bit of euphoria and that oh so fun waking dream state for the first time in a long while with DXM. Guess the break did me good. Think I'll try it again over thanksgiving with a side of Morphine. Should be some fun times. :) I'm glad the DXM gods are once again smiling upon me. Maybe this time if I don't abuse it the euphoria and dream states will stick around.

The first time I took DXM was 175mg, and that was one hell of an experience. Not pleasant at all, lasted about 48 hours total. The first 5 trips were pretty rough, but after that things improve unbelievably. I feel very bad for anyone who never haven taken DXM before aims for a high second / low third plateau and ends up comatose for a few days because of it. DXM is definitely one drug you want to follow the start low rule. Until your body develops at least a slight tolerance to it, it's unpleasant and you definitely have to use MUCH lower doses than the white paper would suggest. Starting at like 100mg, and using gelcaps is highly recomended to get a feel for how you're going to respond. And DXM has a very very steep dose / responce curve. Don't go and double your dose ever. Also since DXM is unique in how it reacts differently at different levels (hence plateus) going big on your first time is going to be a totaly different experince from a low 1st or 2nd plateau dose.

LMAO...yeah, I have lived through a 3,000mg dose that was consumed with two bottles of Korbel champagne. If one did actually OD and die on DXM, they probably wouldn't even know what hit them.

Okay dexers, lets hear some war stories about vomiting from the consumption of or the come up on dextromethorphan. There exists in our wonderfully fucked up world, a breed of people that can down the tasty Satan berry flavored psychonaught syrup without even a single heave. However, most are not so lucky, so lets hear some battle stories about how tussin waged war on your esophagus.
The first time I took it I hadn't eaten all day and I threw up three times... it was a low dose too, and it wasn't even the syrup... :o sad, i know!

I don't think I ever puked on DXM but for me puking on any drug other than dirty fucking alcohol means "FUCK YEAH IT'S GONNA KICK IN STRONG". Love those MDMA power pukes.:p

last night i did 600mg. IMO DXM is just too fucking weak for an ex ketamine addict like myself. maybe it will be good if i up it to 750mg. but fuck 750mg.... that's kind of at the point where i question whther the body load is worth it... after effects linger on for 24 hours as it is...
Oh Yeah... I never vomit from DXM or feel any nausea at all. ketamine, pcp and nitrous are also just as agreeable.

ltk was a pretty good site IMO. some parts of it were disconnected from the rest of the site. exact same layout, but on a different domain and not linked to (at least by any page i was able to find)
they had quite a few synthetic compounds that i was interested in.

Oh yeah! Yacking on DXM makes for one hell of a come up, so long as you keep the stuff down for 30 minutes or so first.
but fuck 750mg.... that's kind of at the point where i question whther the body load is worth it... after effects linger on for 24 hours as it is. Yeah, that's how DXM is at first, but after X amount of trips (I'd guess 25 or so) the effects are completly gone at a max of 8-10 hours. If I dosed on 1200mg it would hit me as hard as a train, but in 10 hours I'd be baseline again. But my first couple of DXM trips were 24 hours +. The first few sucked pretty bad actually. Not sure why I stuck with it to be honest. Nothing better to do I guess =P
Well I';ve puked for the first time for the night. Wonder if more's on the way. Not involving DXM, involving MSIR and alcohol. Comes with the territory I guess, fuck it.

Last time I did H witth my friend we were driving down the road and all of a sudden he explodes all over the windshield and steering wheel! So I had to take over driving for the rest of the evening.

Ya know, I actually puked outside in the rain not too long after this....I love the rain, for it washes away all the nasty shit that one can spew from their pie hole as the act is happening. The wonderful thing is that it just washes away. If only life were as simple as yakking in a rain storm...problem caused/problem expelled/problem washed away

I just picked up some 15mg DXM caps from the store, I was really surprised because this brand we have out here in the west that's called "Western Family" started making them and they're $3.29 per 300mg. Talk about a deal !!
