I think it was jacky who said that grinding the Kratom up mixing with lemon juice and some other liquid and drinking it within like a minute or two (to keep the alkaloids from mixing with the water too much).
I tried a couple of extractions and then tried that way when I woke up.
Holy jeebus.
It works like a charm.
Muchos MUCHOS gracias!

I would just use plain water, and water that is cold, but not too cold it hurts your teeth.
the lemon juice/lime juice and water infusion is for stripping alkaloids INTO the solution just take 1/3 citrus juice mentioned above and combine with 2/3 water...then heat with the kratom, or pretty much ANY other alkaloid containing plant that you are interested in, and you will get more alkaloids than just by water and boiling alone.
the plain water method, done quickly, leaves little bitter taste in the mouth, whereas the citrus infusion will be VERY bitter.
most of the time I just put dry kratom in my mouth, pour in water, swish, swish, and swallow. every once inawhile you will suck some dry stuff into your lungs and regret it.
I have been chewing fresh kratom leaves lately, as I have a grow room in my garage for kratom, I have about 9 plants, some small, and a few that are bushy and about 6 ft tall with 1 1/2 -2 inch stems on some. anyway, some source state that kratom trees have to grow for up to 5 years before they produce enough alkaloids for major effects. But I have found that even a fresh few leaves, chewed quid style, gives me effects!! this is great, because the leaf when fresh, is pleasureable chewing, it can also be used wth betel nut, or chewed with piper betel leaf. I am thinking about selling the fresh leaves occasionally to freinds, and shipping priority in moisture....
