1st interView of the year

I had my first interview since my gallery show opened for a local art rag here. Ironically they were more interested in my tattooing than any of my paintings that were on display, I fucking hate the same old question "Do you watch those reality shows on tattooing?"

Though I do appreciate the fact that shows like that are exposing people to what I do for a living and making it clear that tattoos aren't just for likes of Sailors, Bikers, and convicts alone, they aren't exactly the greatest of artists that are representing the trade. Plus they all act like rock stars. Sell outs.

Anyhow I am rambling, I just wanted to say gettin interviewed after shootin a biggun is definitley the best route, and a HUGE thank you to a new friend that was able to set me straight on the cold streets of Denver. Best I've had in a while, much abliged, and i'll remember my skate next time.

Lucky man,the only people who've interviewed me were the cops.

I had my 15 mins of fame. I was in the paper once for something that wasn't illicit.

However, all of my other interviews have been by people with a phd ... ie doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists and ofcourse .. interns and students. The same questions over and over get old. Eventually I found it was more fun to make things up.... I know, I know, affecting scientific research. Fuck em, let them pay me.

PS: Congrats on the showing, I'm a big supporter of the arts of all kinds.
