Demerol availability

I was curious is Demerol something that a doctor can prescribe and get from a pharmacy...I saw Walgreems site and they had 50mg/1ML amps in their database..I had this stuff in the hospital and it was great, just curious if anyone has any experience with it

Yes, they could write for demerol to be used parentally. I think I am answering the question you are asking, but not sure, is that all you wanted to know, if it was possible? If that's it, yes. They can do the same for morphine, hydromorph, or fill in the blank. Now finding a doc that is going to write a script like that is another story (that is if you aren't bed-ridden and near death)!

You probably had some other meds mixed with your Demerol at the hospital, by itself it is not much of a recreational drug. It is good to ward off W/D, but staggering around with blurred and distorted vision doesn't do it for me. By the way, you can build up a massive tolerance to Demerol very quickly. Inside of a week swim was using 1500mg a shot

Well Right now my drug of choice to get high is Buprenex .3mg injectable..I was just curious of the demerol and I'll see what my doc says when I go back and brign it up

Yeah I've been given a script for 20 dems before...i was going for morphine, but the doc slapped me with a stupid demerol script.

Demerol has a pretty high rate of seizures due to extended use. I know this second hand because SWIM got his hands on a bottle of liquid Dem and was sticking himself. He lasted a few days before he ended up having a tonic-clonic seizure in front of his co workers. A scary situation, for sure.

SWIM didn't know what they were doing, so it's possible the seizure came from as a form of OD. Just be aware. "THE MORE YOU KNOW"

Many of us, myself included, have had Demerol when we break a bone and they need to set it. It's not the best circumstance to be in, but I remember a doctor trying to push my broken collar bone back into place and thinking "yeah....I'm ok with that...."

I got it in pill form when I had my wisdom teeth taken out. All it did was put me to sleep..

Demerol KICKS ASS! In IV/IM form anyway. I've had well over 50x Demerol IMs and usualy mixed with an IV benzo(but mostly alone actualy with some tbalets). All in a doc/nurses care. Like everytime I went to the ER about my pain(severe back pain, but would only go when it was so bad I had to be wheel chaired in..) and god does it work! Slap on a fent aptch before I go and eat a few tabs, they pop me in my ass with that dem needle and some IV benzo and isntant releif, i mean when I hurt this bad it's not enough to make me pain free but it makes me where I'm no longer basicly in tears and can basicly walk...

but yeah, dem is the shit! I've never had the demerol tablets though, but my friends seem to love them! alot.

Oh, to answer your main Q, yeah, you sure as hell can get it scripted!!!

Dems is what my dentist prescribes for pain. I find I get an intense, very nice body buzz shortly after taking the pills, but not long after that it just makes me tired with blurry vision. Wouldn't go out of my way for it
