Actiq/ CP Questions

If any CP patients that use actiq have any advice, I would love to hear it.
I just got scripted 400mic suckers to use to abort migraine attacks. It works pretty well at first, but seems to wear off and fade within an hour. I use these in comination with DHE injections and Zomig nasal spray. I am looking for advice on how to make these last longer/ come on stronger. I know shit like this would be more appropriate on an actuall CP or headache forum, but the people on Ophile know their shit and it takes someone who has a love of opiates or a history of recreational drug use/addiction to understand someone who falls into that same category. I have heard that the most difficult pain patients to treat are users/ addicts, but I can't really mention that to my doc and have any chance of getting real medication after that.

Unfortuanely the only way I have evre been able to make em come on stronger is to eat 2 at once, as for lasting longer see Cube's thread on opiate potentiation.

I hear ya. I sucked on two at the same time this morning. It seemed to do the trick, but it's going to kill my stash if I do that every time I have a HA. Since I am getting these I no longer have norco to fall back on. The norcos are pretty week and don't knock the pain like these do, but they last a bit longer but with less effect. Are there any other meds that would "blast" the pain quickly that you use/have used/prefere over actiq? I think these would be super effective for BT while on a long acting med, but right now I am using them as a primary defense. I guess my question would really be are there any IR meds that come on with as muck kick (pain relief kick, not rush) and might have a bit longer half life? I will look over Cube's postings as well.

Not that I've tried, unless you're gonna bang em, but then you have the effects wearing off pretty quick also, even with morphine I've found that to be the case. I'm sure fellow opiophiles will be along with suggstions/experience what has given them the most bang for their buck so to speak. I know u said you do not IV and please in no way take this as me advocating you do so. If you've been able to avoid that route thus far, stay away, it's a slippery slope and pretty much downhill.

Go to active topics for today and you will see in the upper left hand corner a button that says new thread, click and post away. As far as I know there is no way to smoke the lollies. Nice thought though.

I read somewhere about dissolving the suckers in a solvent and letting it evaporate in a breadpan or whatever with as large a surface area as possible. This would produce paper thin candy fent that would be dissolved and absorbed immedieatly instead of twirling that damn sucker in your mouth forever. This would make it hit strong, and thus be more effective, but it definately wouldn't help your duration any... if anything it would hinder it. I would use the suckers in this way though and substitute other Opaites for the tail end.

I crushed some and disolved it in 2ml water just to see what would happen and it formed a bit of a film or skin on the water. I didn't waste a whole sucker on it, just a little chunk to experiment with while I was enjoying that lollipop.Any idea what the process to prepare it right would be? I can't find anything with the search engine, so if somebody has experience with this. . .

I don't think I would try shooting a fent pop... just sounds like a bad idea to me.
