Awesome, just awesome. I have been to Sedalia several times and have heard of the show there. Was it at an outdoor amphitheater time thing?

I believe it was at the fairgrounds. It was a three day festival with a lot of great bands. There were people who had tents set up with signs on them advertising what they were selling. I could probably write a small book about my experiences at this festival. I've mentioned it at least once in a prior post.

You can Google "Ozark Mountain Music Festival" and find a link to a pretty good Wiki article about it. It's not entirely accurate as far as bands that performed goes. For instance it says Aerosmith and the Daredevils were rumored to have been there. They were there because I saw and heard them. I don't care how much LSD I had taken at the time. :D

Probably my favorite Bob Marley album(other than his really early stuff), reminds me of the great summer I had between 10th and 11th grade when I was in HS.

Not in a cheesey, frat guy(or girl), I'm trying to relive my youth sort of way , but my later HS years were some of the best of my life, I was healthy, happy and I felt like I was really going to go somewhere with my life. How things change...

After saying that and knowing how music can really take me back in time, I sometimes have a hard time listening to music from that part of my life because it can make me bitter and resentful and melancholic about the life I have now, compared to the life I was living and the life that I thought I was going to have.

Golly, and I always heard that speedballs were as boring as watching paint dry. Gotta say, I think watching glass slowly exhibit its fluid properties over decades would be made mighty exciting by a ball of pure speed. Wooo Doggy! If only I had a smoke. I'd say that's the only way this could be better, but I vaguely intuit instinctually that to even admit a speedball could stand to gain in its pure heavenliness is tantamount to if one were to blasheme against God to the extent of calling him, in all ingenuousness, lower in moral aptitude than the bastard child of Satan and Jeffrey Dahmer. Mmmmm. Hope you enjoyed and were not rather annoyed.
