So thanks again to Bluehost we lost a good week's worth of posts and important data. Their response was that they had no idea what caused it. I call bullshit as our database was completely wiped out and had I not made a backup manually on the 15th, we'd be without as far back as a month, as their own backup system is for shit. Even my own automated cron jobs were failing to run and their last weekly backup (which is actually only an archive as it sits on the same drive as the original account) was dated Sept 24th.
We're now hosted by Yage.net which may be only temporary as I'm guessing we'll exceed the bandwidth limitations on the account which is the highest they offer. Either way, Yage.net (luibh.com) isn't using cPanel, is run by someone who is quite knowledgable, extremely cooperative, and friendly. I've moved another site of ours over to their hosting a few weeks ago and all has been well since.
Those of you who have opiophile.org email accounts should get in touch via PM to get your new passwords from me. Your mail should still have been delivered over the last few days.....
Apologies for the loss. I'm hoping this is the end of it. We ran solid for three years (even back when we were using Snitz) without a problem and I'm guessing we shouldn't see any more difficulties....
Fuck Bluehost.
