NEEDLE EXCHANGE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES IN LOS ANGELES
For anyone interested in using Needle Exchange, here is a listing of exchanges in Los Angeles.
HHCLA is the only exchange I know of that will offer needles without exchanging old ones. They will give 5 on the first visit and each time you visit will give 5 extra. If you exchange 20 needles, they will give you 25.

If you are exchanging a large number of old needles, bundle them in groups of 10 each with a rubber band to make counting go faster. You can also exchange for any number of people.
HHCLA will help you with any legal issues if you should receive a ticket for paraphenalia. I believe CNN will help as well with legal issues if you are pulled over with needles or found with them.
Most of the sites provide HIV testing/counseling, and I believe all have referrals for drug rehabs, Methadone Clinics, Medical services.
CNN may provide donations if you are interested in purchasing a box of needles. Call ahead or ask when you are there, they may still do this.
Good luck everyone and use the services listed. It beats getting HIV/Hep C.
