View Full Version : Getting my Hydro's today

I'm getting 90 Hydro's (Vicodin ES) today which normally i only take when i am out of Tramadol or sometimes just at night when I've had Tramies all day. I thought I'd do a little experimentation and take soem together and see how i feel; starting in small doses of course, i don't want to have a seizure or something.
Usually i save my Vics for Tramadol withdrawal or really bad Spondy pain, kinda ironic sense most people do that opposite. I'f found lately that when i take vics the second day i start getting so sick which i never used to before.. this is when i am not taking Trams, just vics. Is it maybe my system can't handle them anymore? Strangly, Perc's do not make me sick. I had some a few months ago from my pain doc and they didn't make me sick and i had wonderful pain control. But, the Vics just don't sit well with me like they used to. I noticed this started happening when i switched to my Trams about 2 years ago. Now that i have Poppy Seed Tea to ease my withdrawals i can splurge on the Vics a little bit more. And i know all this is gonna kill my tolerance!
Anyway, I'm gonna take some together and see how it works. Lately my Tramadol hasn't been helping my pain as much as it used and i know that is just tolerance, maybe mixing in some vics will give me better pain management. The last two days i have a hard time moving my back. My Grandma and i went to the horse races (I won 66 bucks on a long shot 1-25) and going to the races requires alot of walking around and it aggrevated my back. And than the next day she wanted to go to the swapmeet and that reguaired even more walking and so no my back is killing me. At the swapmeet i kept my eye out for pods, you just never know what you'll find at the swatmeet lol- No Such Luck! Not, that i am desperately wanting to try pods... just curious. The seeds alone work great for me.
Oh BTW, on my Birthday last week my rat Sahsa gave birth to some babies. Wanna see? Looks like their might be Dumbo's in the litter. Hey Goddess,
Everyone is different, but chances are you'll enjoy the trams and vics together. They seem to potentiate each other, and the effects of the vics last longer in my experience.
Not sure what the risks are taking them together, but when I had the combo, I got it from a guy who was prescribed both and was instructed to take both together when needed.

Yea, my pain Doctor used to prescribe me both Tramadol and Percocet so it should be fine taking Vicodin with Trams. I just won't over do it. I haven't tried it yet, i haven't picked them up yet. When i do try it I'll let ya know.

What's your regular dose for both and I can tell you the perfect combo for potentiation. I have somewhat decent experience with combining both. The trams stretch out my buzz from the Vicodins a good bit in my experience
btw your rats look high, you sharing some with those guys? lol

No no no, not sharing with the rats although a little vicodin wouldn't hurt them. I've given vicodin to my ras when they've had a painful procedure or a bad abscess, works great. You just have to weight them and do the math, thankfully there is a rat website that gives about the right dose for them.
Well, my Tramadol dose is anywhere from 6 -9 at a time but lately it's been around 7 at a time. With the vics, i take about 3 or 4 at a time, i have taken 5 or 6 but i know what that's doing to my poor liver so i don't do that anymore. I also do Cold Extration from time to time with Vics. So, yea... what's the right percentage of each for potentiating?

My small snakes used to love those pinkies. Do you ever sell them? The pythons and boas used to love the large rats. I never did get the frozen pinkies, the snakes always preferred the live ones. I did have a couple of nice hooded rats with good personalities, but their days were numbered too. Sometimes I miss my snakes. I had something like 23 at one time, so we went through quite a few rats. I used to raise them myself. I never could produce enough pinkies or fuzzies to feed their habit though. I wonder if a pinky would potentiate a fuzzy? Rats really are clean animals and the snakes loved em.

uh, i don't know how to say this to you and i actually love snakes, but i am a rat lover and i am against feeding domestic rats to snakes, i hate it! In England it's actually illegal to sell rats as feeders. Wish it was here as well. The rats you get at pet stores are bred to be tame and docile and used to humans and yet they sell them as feeders. It's like going to the pet store to get a cat for your dog to eat. Horrible. If people just gave rats a a change they'd see how wonderful they are and what great pets they are and wouldn't want to use them as feeders. So to answer your question, NO i DON'T sell them, never have and never will.
Please don't flame me for my opinions regarding this, I have a right to my opinion and statements as did someone in a different sub catagory regarding trapping rats. Soon as i saw the word Trap i didn't even finish reading her post and i will never go look at that thread again, so i have no idea what she said but it was kinda disrespectful to post such a thing in reply and on the same thread as a rat lover is active on. But, i guess that made her feel better so that's just wonderful hope she got something out of it, some satisfaction. I didn't flame her post and i should hope no one flames this post.
He asked a question and i am responding with my opinions. I am passionate about small animals an rats so i would never ever ever sell them as feeders.

Well, i took some Vics with the Tramadol, it seems to me that the Hydro's over power the Tramadol a bit more than i like so I'm going to lower the vicodin and increase the Tramadol percentage. I do feel very good though, energetic but relaxed, very focused. Focused enough to do a drawing i was highered to do, i love when i get a drawing job, it brings me such satisfaction, specially if the client loves the drawing. So, it's nice to be very focused. Tramadol keeps me very focused but the mixture of both makes me even more focused.
And darn, I forgot to get grapefruit juice at the market. I wanted it for a potentiator, i love how the grapefruit works and i actually love the taste of grapefruit juice.
Well, I post tomorrow about how the new mix goes.

I actually used to breed my own rats for feeders. I really prefered to breed the extra large albino rats for feeders. The hooded rats were always quite docile. We kept a couple as pets, they are actually very intelligent and were allowed to rome about my room freely. The picture of your pinkies just reminded me of those days and I haven't given anybody a hard time for awhile, so there ya go. That was over 10 years ago when I had a freakin zoo in my bedroom. I was a pet store junkie in those days. Then I found drugs. You handled my comments very maturely and intelligently.

I actually love lizzards, i actually like all exotic animals even snakes. I just love all animals period but i am partial to exotics and rats of course. Some vets consider rats exotic pets.
Lizards are amazing, I'd love to have one... a veggie eating or cricket eating one.
Someday I'd like a rabbit, i love them. I also want a ferret someday but they are illegal in Los Angeles but people have them anyway. It really makes no sense that they are illegal. They are illegal because they worry that someone will release their ferret into the wild when they don't want it anymore or it escapes outside and they'll eat native plant life, that's ridiculous, you'd have to release hundreds for that to happenand for it to be drastic enough to hurt native plant life.
Do you have any pet lizards right now?

Goddess,
Been a lurker for awhile, but shared love of rats brought me out. I now have ferrets, same great qualities of rats, but much longer lives. As for other commonalities, I am disabled and take large quantities of meds, mostly Fentanyl. Patches and lollipops both. I could take enough hydro, I would die from liver failure before I felt anything, so my tolerance is really high. nice to see other animal lovers around.

Hey Ginger Snap nice to meet ya.
Yea the one bad thing about rats is they don't live long enough and they come with a lot of heartbrake because of that but it's worth it for the love they give in return. Having a ferret most be awesome.
Ok, just so know one gets upset we're talking about animals and not pills... I've heard of those Lollipops.. I saw on TV they usually only give them to cancer patients but the boy in the program didn't have cancer he had a benign tumor removed from his brain and he was left with horrible nerve damage in his brain and he suffered intolerable headached because of it so he was prescribed the lollipops and he said they worked great. Are they working goo for you? They are morphine pops? or something else is in the pops? I'm sure i could never get my hand on one of those lol. I'm sure they're great.
I've been living with severe pain sense a car accident a few years ago, while I've always love pills i didn't really start taking as much as i am now till after the accident. The last 4 years I've been on either Percocet, Vicodin HP or ES and Tramadol along with other types of drugs that supposedly help with pain- Topomax and some other stuff but nothing ever works as well as opies for pain. Right now i mostly take tramadol for the pain and for a little fun lol. And i also get Vicodin.
I've been threw orthopedists, pain doctors, aquatheropy, traction, ultrasound therapy, and recently 3 epidural shots in my back which didn't help... everything that is supposed to help with severe back pain and here i am still in pain, my next step is seeing a surgeon. I haven't decided on that yet. So many people tell me not to have surgery.
Anyway, so what are you taking your meds for?
Look forward to talkin with ya.

That's so strange because i was able to get SSI. But, i had to higher a lawyer to get mine and i got a very understanding judge. It took me over year and a half to get it, you can imagine how large my retro check was, they owed me over a year of money. Maybe he should try one more time. It's always good to get a lawyer because they know the in's and out's of SSI/Social security. I know longer get SSI but i do get Social security. And the lawyer is not supposed to charge you anything if you don't win the case. If they should ask for money up front call the better busines bereau. They are not allowed to ask for any money up front in regards to a SSI/Social security case, however they are allwoed to ask money up front for any services that may be needed prior to seeing the judge, such as having medical records copied or going to see another doctor for a second opion for the judge to see, just little things like that. I couldn't even afford to get my medical records copied (There were about 400 pages to be copied). He just told me to pay him if and when i won my case. But other than that they can not ask for any money up front for the reason they were retained for. When you win your case they take a percentage of your retro check, which is usually around 25-27%.
The judge saw all my medical recors, x-rays, MRI results and a few other things. I'm on disablilty not just because of my severe back pain but a few other things but the SPondylitis (back prob) was the main reason, the other reasons were secondary but in relation to the Spondylitis.
If you live in California i can suggest a good lawyer or if you live somewhere else i can ask my lawyer if he knows anyone good in your area. Let me know.

Street rats/ Wild rats (Rattus Rattus) do carry diseases but Domestic rats (Rattus Norvigicus) do NOT carry diseases of any kind other than normal domestic pet ailments; hurt paws, resp infections, Diabetes, cancer etc. Once again, Domestic rats do not carry the diseases that wild rats/Street rats carry.

WTF??? Rats are getting high and I can't even find a tylenol 3 right now?????? ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
And the fact that there is a webiste out there that tells you how many painkillers to give a rat just proves my long-running theory that the internet is 97% insane garbage. The other proof for this comes from japan.... ANYTHING on the internet from japan is insane garbage.
except maybe.... scat videos....
okay, thats gross... sorry. :uhhohh: :peeonme:
YOU GUYS ARE TALKING ABOUT THE WRONG PERSON. I'm not taking pops or fent nor do i plan on it. How did you guys come to the conclusion i was doing that? I'm a tram-head, Hydro/oxy taker and have no desire to use any of those you're talking about.
People, look at what you are replying to and slow down and read the posts, it's not that hard lol.

Not codiene. From what I've read codiene needs to be broken down in the liver and the GF juivce prevents that from happening....but by that logic, now that I think of it, the same would go for heroin too....?? NOw Im confused but I do remember reading from a reliable source that you shouldnt take GF with Codiene. Maybe there is a better explaination than mine. Dunno.

So how did your rats like those Rasberry flavored fent pops you got them. Did you go with the 1600's?
Anyway let us know how the Rats like the Fent....maybe you should start them on Tram then hydro then Fent. Thats what I do with my monkey. But monkeys are different than rats. Monkeys are different than rats. Monkeys are different than rats.

Opi-1 does not joke. That monkey is so strung out. It's actually pretty amusing. He has one of those monkeys with the bright orange asses. The bright orange ass helps him make more dough to spend on fent pops.

Opiyum is right. Grapefruit juice won't work with codeine because codeine has to be converted by the liver to morphine for most of it's action. The grapefuit juice inhibits a certain CYP enzyme that's in the liver responsible for this, so it's basically pointless. Also, most SSRI's (prozac, paxil, celexa, luvox, etc.) also inhibit this enzyme. I remember being on Prozac and taking about 20 tylenol 3's and didn't feel a thing. That's how I learned about it.
I'm not sure if heroin would be affected by the grapefruit juice, but since the diamorphine has to be converted to morphine it may pose a problem.

Grapefruit juce potentiates Tramadol wonderfully as well. I'm not getting much out of these Vicodin i got, i just don't enjoy them sense i fell in love with Tramadol. It's so strange because years ago Vicodin did wonders for me and i got such an energized high and now it does nothing for me yet Tramadol works so great for me, for pain and for fun. I wish i still enjoyed Vics, i have a bunch right here, just sitting here. I'll save them for brake threw pain i guess and withdrawal.
