I know many didn't catch my thread about my trip to vegas coming up, so I thought I'd post these links here to pay respects to a fallen comrade. My upcoming trip to Vegas inspired me to do a little searching for Hunter S footage and I found some good stuff. I'm still looking for the full Conan O'Brien where they are drinking whiskey and shooting some pretty heavy guns.

I saw that the night that it aired.
Kinda hard to watch cos
Hunter was obviously nervous
and uncomfortable being interviewed
I can relate coc I'm basically a loner
who only feels at ease around a crowd
when I have an opiate buzz

Yeah, I'm wondering if he started getting dementia. His comment about making the shoes he had on was pretty bizarre. I think Conan did a better job with him than Letterman did. Letterman 88 wasn't very good, he is very nervous on that one. Letterman 83 was pretty good though. You gotta love him.

staying with Hunter to get into character
before shooting FNL
He said Hunter actually shaved his (Johnny's) head

I've seen a pic of Thompson cutting Depp's hair, that story is true. I can't seem to find it doing a google search right at the moment. Classic picture though. It may have been rolling stone or something where I saw that.
