http://psychcentral.com/news/2012/02/03/multiple-exposures-to-anesthesia-may-increase-chance-of-adhd/34415.html

according to their observations, the prevalence among children who have never been exposed to anesthesia once, or only once, was about 7%, but those children exposed two or more times had a 17% incidence rate of ADHD. whats interesting is, i would qualify as proof for this study, having gone under twice before the age of 4 for surgery.

this is something that is really just kind of a connect the dots type discovery. at first theyre all set to say "Ok well if you have ADD/HD you must have not enough dopamine/norepinephrine", but now that those drugs are starting to be looked down upon, they make this "miraculous" discovery that instead of it being the monoamine system, its actually you glutamate system

cue 25425 new drug patents for glutamate drugs

in other news there is also "evidence" now for ketamine's anti-depressant effects.
not the lasting anti-D effects, but literally the anti-D effects that follow IVing .5mgs/kg

Dude K was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I literally snorted it laid back in bed and babbled on for hours about nonsense to this chick I was with at the time. I don't remember anything I said just feeling like I was in the room looking down on myself or sometimes it would feel like my state of conciousness would leave my body and hover over my body it was so insane. Wish I could get some again I bet it would help with my depression haha
