This guy I know got some new pills they are called Oxymorphones. He got the 20's but they also come in 40's. They are suposedly twice as strong as OC's and 8.7 times as potent as Morphine. The 20's are light green octagons. Any info would be heavily appreciated. Street Value, what they are similar to, ingestion methods, etc...THaNkS!!!!!

Street value is going to be pretty hard to get a number on, they came out pretty recently and I bet they are going for way more than they're worth. As far as methods of administration, why would it be different than any other drug? Do it however you do whatever you do.

Oxymorphone, woweee. Rare bird. I think it's: hydromorphone [dilaudid] is to hydrocodone as Oxymorphone is to oxycodone...or something like that...maybe not chemically but regarding potency, yea. It used to be almost exclusively restricted to hospitals for surgery & stuff.

Isn't it called Nubain™? And what may I ask were they prescribed for?

And as always

where the fuk do you get a number like 8.7? :p it's a couple times stronger than morphine, and incredibly stronger than oxy. if oxy is what you're used to be extremely fukin careful with this shite.

ok, oxymorphone is something totally different than nubain. the "new" brand name is opana, or opana er. opana ir comes in 5 and 10 mg's. opana er comes in 5, 10, 20, and 40 mg's. i know nothing of this drug but i know an old fart who does. according to him it's one helluva high if injected, however, the nausea and vomiting it produces are unlike any other opie out there. he claim'd "extreme nausea"..."so much so that junkies are the only ones who can really appreciate the substance".

one other thing, he claims that anyone allergic to codeine would be allergic to this...

if you give it a go, please do report - many here who'd love to know what exactly the score its...

It's 3 times stronger than morphone (orally) and twice as strong as oxycodone (orally). Intraveinously, oxymorphone is 10 times stronger than morphine, tells ya a lot about bioavailabilty right there. If you're used to oxycodone (orally) cut it in half; morpine (orally) divide by 10 ect.
BB is correct that it is NOT nubain. Nubain is nalbuphine, Numorphan is oxymorphone, big difference. I't be careful what I took as fact from "an old fart". Nausea from opiates is highly individualized, each person responds differently. Most people will be nauseated by too high of a dose though, that is more of a generalization that is true for the majority.
Oxymorphone is actually a metabolite of oxycodone. It is one of the cases where the metabolite is stronger than the parent drug. It seems to be getting really "built up" in reputation. It hasn't been around for awhile, so not many people have been able to experience it. Once it's out and more available, I think most people will go back to h is better- just my opinion. Also, I think a lot of people hear "morphone" and associate it with hydromorphone, which is a great drug. It just doesn't necessarily mean they'll think the oxymorph is even better. In the case of hydrocodone/hydromorphone, hydromorphone is 4 times stronger (orally) than hydrocodone, in the case of the oxy's it's only a factor of two. A comment that I keep reading is "oxymorph is to oxycodone as hydromorph is to hydrocodone". While this is true metabolically, it isn't when talking potency.
I think this original quesiton is going to become the new question that gets asked a million times a day.

These are the old Blue Endo (Numorphan not Nubain) pills that got pulled because junkies loved them so. Then was only available in hospitals for surgery (ampules) and now is reformulated by Endo as Opana. It gels on contact with water. UTFSE will yield numerous threads with one on a guy trying to inject the gel crap and lots of advice. My opinion-better than Dilaudid.

Dor- when you say better than hydromorph are you comparing the old formulation or have you been able to sample the new stuff? How did you take it and did the high last longer than the hydromorph?

Old stuff-Blue Endo. IV'ed it. Solution the color of a Ming vase. Beautiful rush, great high. Better than Dilaudid but new formulation , according to other threads, has microcrystalline
silica(sand basically) which will screw up your veins, heart, lungs, etc. Endo, I believe, has tried to make the new pills unsootable since they had to pull Blue Endos from market (SWIM liked them too much, his buddy used to go to doctors, piss in bottle, prick finger with tack, put blood in urine, old doc would say "You have kidney stone, here are some Blue Endos-alright)

unsootable=unshootable and unsuitable

i did fact checking before i posted, i've never been one to regurgitate(sp?) what some wanker outta nowhere says :p

oxymorphone : 14-hydroxydihydromorphinone. a semi-synthetic opioid analgesic derived from morphine. i.v it is 6 - 8 times more potenet than morphine, orally i couldn't find an exact number other than "a couple times". as he made such a point of how easily it makes one puke i look'd into that to. i will try and backtrack to get the source but nausea and vomiting, during test trial (for opana i believe) were complain'd about as being worse than with morphine...not from too high a dose, just as a common side effect...

~ how can oxymorphone be 3 times as strong as morphine and 2 times as oxycodone (orally) when the bio availablility is 10% and 80 - 90(?)% respectivly...and if it's 3 times as strong as morphine why would you cut it into 10?

dorje...i had posted under "cowboy" agreeing with you about oxymorphone being blues but it went awol along with many other posts...some one had posted T's and blues are what was being talk'd about....T's and blues is only used when talking about talwin...from what i know, oxym. got the nicname "blues" because of their light blue colour.

g'day

That's correct. The solution that pulled up from pill crush was the color of a Ming vase. The Numorphan pills were blue and everybody I know called them "Blues." Where is all the good stuff when you need it? Oh well.

How does oxymorphone compare with good H.

dorje
10-03-2006, 02:56 PM
Well good H is like good wine. It varies from region to region. Vietnamese White far superior to any pill made. Good opium is my favorite. But my opinion pill for pill Numorphan was superior in rush to anything else made and had a great finish with just a little oak in the aroma besides the solution was my favorite (Ming vase) blue. 5 stars.

OPANA ER (oxymorphone hydrochloride) extended-release, is a semi-synthetic opioid
analgesic supplied in 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg tablet strengths for oral
administration. The tablet strength describes the amount of oxymorphone hydrochloride
per tablet. The tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: hypromellose, iron
oxide black, methylparaben, propylene glycol, silicified microcrystalline cellulose,
sodium stearyl fumarate, TIMERx.
-N, titanium dioxide, and triacetin. The 5 mg, 10 mg
and 20 mg tablets also contain macrogol, and polysorbate 80. In addition, the 5 mg tablets
contain iron oxide red. The 10 mg tablets contain FD&C yellow No. 6. The 20 mg tablets

I dont think I would try to boot it

Your right. The new formulation is OPANA and has microcrystalline suilica. But the old formuklation (Numorphan) was definitely bootable. Just ask old dope fiends from Tucson, AZ.

Those Tannons landed my buddy in jail when he took a script written on toilet paper into an Arizona pharmacy and tried to cash it for Numorphan. Four days later when he OR out I had gotten some Blue Endo and he wanted to see what he was doing time for...he said it was worth it. He skipped town (Tucson) before the trial

Because I was talking about difference by actual dose, if you wanted the equivalent of 30mg of morphine, it's 10mg oxymorph, you may be talking relative potency. I think its easier to compare when you're talking mg vs. potency.

I like to compare rush to rush but since it is a subjective measure only hairdressers know for sure. Of course, there are marked differences with cut products so only the pills provide standardized doses to use as random samples. And I have had some random samples. In fact, some of my random samples had random samples.
